Hey there everyone,
Not all of you are aware of this, but I have gone on an audio odyssey for this video, and have spent several days in hell attempting to get my audio to sound perfect going forward. This is incredibly hard. There are 2 major issues with this:
1) Reverb, which is mostly an issue on non-phone audio (headphones, computers, etc). This has been entirely solved for past and future recordings.
2) Harsh sibilants. This is when the microphone makes a harsh noise for S or T noises. This CAN be solved for past and future recordings, but it remains to be seen. I'm speaking to an audio engineer about it soon. It is mostly an issue on phones, where the audio can sound harsher.
Among my many options was re-recording all of my lines for the entire video, but I have worked hard to make that an unnecessary step. It's a little complex, but in the future I'd like to make a little Patreon video explaining how I did it - but I have mostly used AI-powered audio wizardry to treat the reverb of previous takes, while managing the reverb of the recordings I am making in the future. It all sounds very seamless and clean at this point, and would be sufficient enough for releasing without any need to re-record. In the future, it is also very possible for me to eliminate harsh sibilance. It will still be there, but hopefully less annoying on phones, where the majority of people watch.

I used Goyo in order to treat all past recordings. All future recordings have proper anti-reverb measures present in the room now!

Hey Max0r. Audio Engineer and video editor of 10 years here. If you haven't solved the sibilant problem yet, I would suggest investing in a good DeEsser plugin that you can run inside of premiere in a VST or AU format. My personal favorite is Fabfilter Pro-DS, which is a little expensive if you don't catch it on a sale, but has always been reliable and a "set and forget" thing. Waves has one as well that's more affordable. There's also a plugin called "RX 10 Elements" that has a DeEsser, De-Reverb and some other useful stuff (also kind of expensive). For a free option there's a newer plugin called Goyo Voice Separator, which I haven't tried myself yet but it seems killer from what I've heard. Love what you do and keep up the great work.
