Shuuko held her breath—like many others—as she watched elegance and power manifested into a body of scales and wings gently land across Nik. The horned dragon was larger and wider than Nik. Everyone knew Ignit. Nik made sure to introduce everyone to the Dragon. She was Nik’s pride and joy. Shuuko heard Nik and Ignit enjoy flying and resting near the forbidden Dragon Spring. Yet, how should she feel seeing a man fight a dragon? It was more than fantastical.
It was epic.
Beside Shuuko stood Casca as the former heard the latter’s breath hitch. Shuuko was amazed how Nik did what their former ‘owner’ couldn’t—connecting with Casca. The man strolled into the abode after killing Denny, had a chat with Casca, and now had the brown-skinned girl attacking him for his shameless, fatherless behavior.
Although, Shuuko was of another mind. The former mother couldn’t help but glance at Ursa, Kya, Poppy, and Michi. They were like a family, and Shuuko hoped to spend time conversing with them. They looked fun.
Still, Shuuko realized everyone’s gaze was on Nik and Ignit. Even Nik’s harem wasn’t any different. She knew why.
It was the first time Nik and Ignit were sparring.

Nik chuckled at Ignit’s indignant screech as he shrugged. “I know you’re a girl. However, that wasn’t the point of this sparring session. But you’re here now. Let’s have some fun.”
He was always like that. It was always effortless on Nik’s part to just go along the flow until peeved enough to break shit apart. He entered a stance while Ignit trotted around Nik, dragging her tale against the ground and letting her whiskers flow back.
“No lightningbending,” Nik suddenly spoke. “I’m not advanced enough to guarantee there won’t be any unintended injuries using that skill. Got it?”
Ignit’s molten gold eyes sharpened before she huffed a lick of flame from her mouth.
Nik wondered how he would compare to Ignit in terms of raw power. He knew his chi reserves eclipsed Ignit’s. However, chi reserves meant shit if the other party’s skin could ignore most of the elements.
Ignit was a being fashioned by Ra, the Primordial Sun Spirit. She was a dragon born exiled, different from her serpentine companions as she was a quadruped. She could breathe fire and conjure lightning like her predecessors. However, Nik knew something else. She was a badass survivor who didn’t give up despite her circumstances.
Nik smirked at Ignit’s playful trotting. She wanted to spar but wasn’t used to how differently Nik acted in such settings. The Plundered sought opportunities to curb his opponents. And no amount of cuteness from his opponent will make him go easy on them. Heck, the Ty Sisters also tried such tactics and failed.
Nik’s right foot shifted as Ignit snarled at the wave of lava tumbling in her trotting direction.
Others on the sidelines let out shocked noises as Ignit leaped over the tiny wave—
Nik’s body predicted such movement and boosted his jump with the wind to grapple Ignit in midair and slam her onto the ground. Ignit struggled against Nik’s hold. She snarled and thrashed. Despite possessing similar potency, Nik was glad Ignit wasn’t as gigantic as her peers. He couldn’t have grappled her otherwise.
Phwooom
Ignit breathed a massive wave of fire before suddenly controlling it with a grunt and bathing the duo in flames.
The shaken shouts barely changed Nik’s course of action. He tackled his body’s weakness to fire long ago. He supercharged his chi within his body as currents of warmth flowed throughout his being. Nik closed his eyes, letting the fire cover him and Ignit. It was a defense he often used against Zuko and Azula. Sparring with the two talented firebenders also allowed Nik to sharpen this chi manipulation to another level. However, he was far from stepping onto the stage above the realm of masters.
Ignit let out a mischievous croak as Nik rolled his eyes. He would never let go of such an apparent weakness. It was also his way to teach Ignit to enter a battle-ready stance on the fly. Nik wasn’t an enemy. Ignit would have had her neck snapped if Nik were an enemy and slightly more powerful. His darling wouldn’t even stand a chance against Ray.
“Yeah, yeah,” Nik grunted, ignoring the squeaks and groans around him. “You burned my clothes, happy?”
Ignit could be petty. She realized humiliation was unavoidable, so she went for mutual destruction.
Nik eventually let go of Ignit before grunting. “Don’t play around during sparring. It’s as crucial as actual battles, so go all out without intending to kill the other party, alright?”
Ignit rolled around before elegantly standing on her limbs and flapping her wings. She sniffed and raised her head before nodding.
Nik sighed and looked at his naked, singed body.
“That was a low blow,” he scoffed at the preening Ignit before looking around. He didn’t even know what should he cover—ass or dick?
“I’ll be back in a minute,” Nik smiled at the group before disappearing and reappearing a few seconds later with a new training set on his body.
“Next.” He looked at Sokka and others.
Ignit had already retreated near Suki, scaring off a few girls.
“You should get some clothes that aren’t easy to destroy,” Katara raised an eyebrow as she, Toph, and Azula stepped up.
“Oh, he likes it,” Toph rolled her eyes.
“Who wouldn’t?” Azula licked her lips.
“Well,” Toph tilted her head. “You have a point.”
“Toph!” Katara sighed explosively.
“What?” Toph shrugged. “Are you saying we didn’t do it under the trees 'cause we liked it?”
Katara flushed. She loved it. However, that didn’t mean Toph could announce things like these—
The trio grunted before flying back as they felt something slam into their chest.
They hurriedly looked at Nik, who smirked.
“Focus,” Nik suggested. “You are fighting someone who can bend multiple elements.”
The trio looked at each other before standing up and adopting somber looks. If anything, Azula possessed the most focused glare, as her keen intent was sharper than a knife’s edge.
The three talented elemental benders had been training since they left. Nik was sure they had a few tricks up their sleeves that he couldn’t emulate since he had to divert his focus onto several different topics and issues.
Nik also wasn’t like Aang, who possessed his predecessor’s experience ready to be tapped.
If only Nik could tap Kyoshi…
Nik suddenly looked at Toph, who fished five metal balls from her pocket. Toph didn’t waste any time as she threw the balls at Nik before clenching her fist and stopping them midway. The metal balls elongated into sharp needles—
The youth jumped forward as the ground underneath his previous position melted into bubbling lava.
“Woah, how’d that happen?” Toph sickered as she waved her hand, shooting the dangerous metal needles in Nik’s direction. Nik calmly dodged the attack before looking behind, stomping as he wrestled away Toph’s control from the bubbling magma—higher-level elemental bending involved revoking the opponent’s control discreetly. However, Nik could hijack the connection with overflowing chi.
Toph snorted in displeasure.
“Fight me with skills,” she demanded as a shallow kick raised jagged grounds around Nik.
“How about I use your elements against you?” Nik snickered and raised a small hill under his feet. He looked down at the trio from the high ground.
“Well, I wanted to try something I practiced for a while,” Katara cleared her throat. She and Azula hadn’t interfered with Toph’s bending since they didn’t practice team tactics during their stay. Instead, they focused on reaching new heights in controlling their elements. Nik and more information about different verses from June became their inspiration.
“I’m already fighting,” Toph scoffed. “Wait for your turn.”
“Nobody’s snatching him,” Katara rolled her eyes. “But I don’t think you learned anything new. You could do all this before, too.”
The corner of Toph’s eyes crinkled as Azula piled on.
“She would have the time to learn something if she wasn’t so eager to make blind jokes whenever possible,” Azula smirked when Toph dug her heel. A small, blunt spike of rock hit the duo’s butts as they yelped before glaring at the girl.
“Bitch, please,” Toph rolled her shoulders. “I trained my control when you two were busy learning flashy moves. Check this out.”
She stuffed her hands into her pockets when every raised mound aside from the one Nik stood on melted into fatal waves of hot, bubbling lava. Azula’s and Katara’s eyelids jumped in shock as Nik grinned.
“Oh?”
“Don’t think I can’t do something that you can!” Toph grinned. “I’m the best there ever will be!” Her body leaned forward when a ‘wave’ of ground raised rushed her to Nik. The surrounding Lava crashed and spilled as the bystanders took a few more steps back.
Yet, all of it simmered down the next second, cooling and returning to rocky formations at a breakneck pace.
“Tch!” Toph scowled while Nik continued standing in his position—
He felt a chill on the back of his neck before frosted blades materialized around him, stabbing his way.
Toph blinked in surprise.
*Whoosh*
A bluish shadow shot past Toph with a wave of warmth as everyone heard crackling lightning.
“Just because you can’t control lightning doesn’t mean others can’t!” Azula snickered as Nik hurriedly raised a wall to block the twisting, crackling lightning swirl.
*Crash*
Her fist passed through the wall as the lightning dissipated.
“What was that?” Toph stopped before looking at Katara and Azula.
Katara jogged forward with a smirk.
“You practiced your control, and we trained flashy moves. We might kick Nik’s ass for once if we try things together. What do you say?”
They didn’t intend to team up. Yet, Nik’s chi reserves were infuriating to the talented trio.
“How did you do that?” Nik looked at Katara and Azula before shaking his head.
“No, don’t tell me. Let me figure it out. Hmm. You converged the water vapor around me into frozen blades,” Nik looked at Katara, who smugly smirked. “Meanwhile, you directly divided your chi's positive and negative charges, cutting past the exaggerated movements for lightning generation.”
Azula raised an eyebrow before clicking her tongue. “I can’t believe you saw through that.”
He did because Nik had been doing something similar for a while. He could charge his chi with elements to create elemental resistances.
However, Azula used the skill for the offense.
It was the difference in mindset.
The trio stared at Nik before he grinned.
“That was awesome! Let’s continue.”
The girls shared pleased smirks.
“Fine, I’ll allow you two to support me,” Azula narrowed her eyes.
“Like we allow you to eat us out after—”
Katara covered Toph’s mouth with a red face and an annoyed look. “Do you come with a stopper?”
“Ask Nik,” Toph grinned. “He’s got a fitting plug, right?”
Azula and Katara rolled their eyes. Toph had no shame. Even Poppy was helpless. It would have been another matter if Nik also felt embarrassed. However, he snickered.
“Damn right, I do. Don’t worry, Katara. I’ll plug her mouth after this session.”
“You girls heard her,” Toph shrugged as Nik continued. “Then, I’ll make her swim for another 30 minutes!”
“You monster!” The earthbending ‘doll’ gasped. After all, Toph was always quick to use her soft, doll-like features to avert such judgments.

Hayase watched the four duke things out with elements that would raze several ‘fighters’ like her. She was like Tomo—someone who trained in school clubs for tournaments. It was good to have some sense of self-defense and staying fit. However, she couldn’t create lava or lash out with lightning. Her amber hues stayed fixated on the youth who took on the proclaimed talents in the art of elemental bending.
Nik wasn’t like Denny.
For one, Nik hadn’t purchased Hayase Nagatoro from a glorified Slave deal. No matter what Denny said, Hayase knew what she was—a slave. Others knew it, too. So, Hayase took a sadistic pleasure in rocking Denny with various-sized strap-ons. The late shapeshifter believed Nagato liked dominating her.
That was true. Hayase loved every second of getting back at a filthy whore who thought she could chummy up to others by ‘buying’ them. The tanned girl wasn’t a fool. Such a market existed due to the buyers. Denny was part of the problem that led to someone capturing Hayase and eventually selling her off.
Yet, it irked Hayase to observe someone from Denny’s ‘workplace’ be so easygoing. What was even more annoying was Nik’s startling lack of interest in her. Denny practically drooled for Hayase. Meanwhile, Nik only kept things polite. However, he was always open and heavy-handed in displaying affection to the girls he was involved with.
How shameless could the man be?!
Hayase avoided meeting his gaze once he glanced in his direction as if aware of her gaze. It didn’t help the man was ‘defeating’ Azula with a tongue down her throat as the slutty princess melted into his embrace.
So, Hayase knew Nik was a different breed from Denny.
The latter was an idiot.
Meanwhile, her current ‘Senpai’ was the most dangerous enemy she’d faced in her life. And while her fists failed to put up a good fight, Hayase vowed to break the man with her words… lips…
If only this Senpai were easy to bully like all others!

Sparring against Toph, Katara, and Azula was the most entertaining and inspiring. While he could learn Katara’s method of condensing frost from his surroundings with enough practice, he knew Azula’s achievements were more technical and challenging.
Still, this sparring session proved more than helpful since it opened further training possibilities for Nik. He looked at the remaining group.
Unlike others, Sokka continued to whisper something into Zuko’s and Rena’s ears. The Chieftain studied Nik’s move and planned with his team.
It wasn’t weird.
Other girls were more familiar with each other due to Nik and the moments they shared. So, they tended to banter more than usual. However, Sokka, Zuko, and Rena took this moment for what it was—a fruitful challenge.
“I feel awfully unprepared for this,” Sokka chuckled as he stood between Rena and Zuko. Yet, the man didn’t look nervous.
“I would worry about marriage if I were you,” Nik shrugged with a devious smirk as Rena discreetly glanced at Sokka. The Chieftain’s smile stiffened before he tossed Nik a flat glare. “Couldn’t have expected you to stoop lower than you already had, but you did.”
“That’s what I do,” Nik grinned. “Surpassing expectations.”
Mokshi thrummed in appreciation within his core since these words were for his partners as much as his spiritual stowaway.
Nik looked at Rena and Zuko.
“Your words can’t hurt me,” Zuko entered a stance.
“How would you know unless I try?” Nik mirrored the Dancing Dragon's stance. Meanwhile, Rena internally thanked Katara for that mind-boggling technique of collecting moisture from the air since Rena could work with several puddles of water around her.
Rena brought her hands close as water rose from the puddle and collected into a swirling sphere within the open space between her palms.
Sokka groaned.
The Chieftain would have quipped how unfair it was for him to take Nik on with fists if he hadn’t seen the like of Rosarita demolishing shit. Those women scared Sokka, and now he only wished for Nik’s health instead of getting peeved at the Plunderer’s circumstance with his sister and mother.
Their battle began promptly.

Samus glanced at the engrossed Suki before diverting her attention to the battle. The blue-eyed blonde was shaken by the things she saw today. After all, she used to consistently spar with Denny, for the Shapeshifter wished to train Samus. The idea was simple. Denny would train Samus and delegate the task of teaching others to Samus.
A crucial difference between her previous ‘boss’ and current landlord lay at this point. The man was committed.
Samus did not dislike laziness. Everyone gets lazy at times. However, she did not endear to irresponsible individuals, and Denny was one such Host.
The blonde watched Nik juggle fire and water with Zuko and Rena. He did not falter against Sokka as the trio adopted the classic mix of close and long-ranged combat. Zuko and Rena rained fire and water on Nik from the distance as Sokka tried tripping Nik with everything he had.
However, this fight was doomed to end quickly.
Unlike Toph, Katara, and Azula, the current trio had other responsibilities.
While talented, Zuko loved farming. He grew up doing that. Despite his experiences and the things he overcame, the Fire Nation’s former Prince took a lax approach to his training. It did not mean he stopped pushing his boundaries. However, Zuko also stopped being as devoted to the art as Azula.
From what little Samus knew about the siblings, she understood Azula would usher in a period of smugness over her Elder Brother’s ‘humiliating’ defeat. It wasn’t humiliating in any way. But that’s Azula for you. The Princess had a way of forming the worst impressions with a few words and then having all her smugness shattered whenever near Toph, the Ty Siblings, her mother, and Jin. So, Samus predicted Zuko would return to his training with more focus than before.
Similarly, Sokka and Rena were occupied with the development of Nik’s Scar of Infinity. There were only so many hours a day, and their tasks limited them. Still, the burning determination within Rena after her defeat and Katara’s advancement allowed Samus to realize that Rena would probably drag her husband for intense sessions after Nik finalized the central city. Hopefully, these sessions will be for martial training and not something else.
Samus looked around. Be it the usually languid Carol or the foul-mouthed Revy, everyone found their expressions stiffening as Nik huffed and placed his hands akimbo.
Aside from Ignit setting the man on fire, he barely looked scuffed.
“So, was that it?”
‘No matter how better, all Hosts must be some form of assholes.’ The corner of Samus’ eyes twitched as she thinned her lips.
What was more annoying was that Nik translated his words thrice so everyone could understand him.
Still, Samus couldn’t overlook the results. She could strike while the iron was hot.
As if possessing similar thoughts, Samus noticed Suki glancing her way with a raised eyebrow.
Samus smiled and nodded.
Suki shared the same smile. Their blue eyes brightened.
Meanwhile, as observant as ever and privy to the silent conversation, Jin almost lost her shit.
More training?!
Doesn’t everybody understand by now that sex burns more calories? Why couldn’t they all do that?!
‘Oh, right,’ Jin blinked. ‘There’s only one Nik. But he’s been confident about dealing with issues that would appear with more girls. I wonder what he’s planning.’
