“It’s unfair!” snaps Ray, slamming her hands on her desk with a fraction of her force to crush it. Her cheeks are red, and her usual pink irides brim with indignance. “YOU’RE unfair!”
Someone else might mistake Ray’s angst for jealousy over their newfound hax, but Nik knows better—not often—but he does for now. He leans back in his chair, wondering how Koro will process Ray destroying the office he set for her. Well… Ray will probably reimburse Koro, apologize, and ask him to refurbish the office again.
Still, Ray’s outbursts of this caliber are rare. Usually, she is more—
“First, you have a damn fine body like Toji!” she snaps. “Then you pose hard against bullshit enemies, like that Outer God, similar to Gojo! Now you have the galls to sit back like Sukuna while claiming to be a Yuta? AND you just lay it all on me, expecting me to be the one to deal with all of it?” She grabs her head.
“Fuuuuuckkkkk! I’m even talking in characters! It’s all your fault!”
‘Well… this Yuta must be the Kopi Kopi user from One Piece,’ Nik muses as he lets Ray vent.
“Why?” She grunts. “Fuck it! I know why you would just tell me about your fucking devil fruit!” she cusses again. “Fuck! First, you can go against the rules set by Finite. So, you can probably go against the rules set by Infinity if you want and attack me regardless. Now—”
She settles in her chair, covering her forehead with her head and groaning, “Nik… getting the Kopi Kopi no Mi isn’t unfair. You earned it. But… it was an ass move to lay it on me. How do I even process all this?”
“You must not fear,” Nik shrugs. “Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little deaths that bring total obliteration—”
“Why the hell are you quoting Bene Gesserit, Nik?” Ray stares flatly. “Did you get Prana Bindu or something from your rewards?”
Nik blinks. “You know about Prana Bindu?”
“Why else do you think I didn’t tear off your clothes and rode you like the best cowgirl in the verse the second I saw you?” She scowls. “I may be a progenitor, but our blood excites us all. Though, I was only interested in the basics of the discipline and didn’t spend too much time with it. I like exploding things more, and stuff like Chakra, Ki, and Magic eventually offer similar control at high levels.”
Ray sighs, “I’m… sorry. It’s just… I’ve got some issues with Steal and Copy abilities, primarily the former. Thank you. I know why you told me about your devil fruit. Chances are I would have found it either way and let my thoughts run amok.”
Nik smirks at her.
“The greatest cowgirl, eh?”
“Shut up!” Ray rolls her eyes. “My sweet baby drains you every time… just imagine what I’d do to you.”
He shrugs. “Who cares what would become of me? I suspect sleeping with a succubus will be an unforgettable experience.”
“Really~?” Ray smirks, crossing her legs.
“Too bad you’re a fake one.”
“Guh!” Ray coughs. “To think I’ll be called a Faker by someone like Yuta and Shirou… tch, the irony.”
“Anyway,” Nik ignores the names of the individuals Ray compares him to. “There is another reason I told you about my Kopi Kopi no Mi. First, it’s awakened, and your info package had little information about the awakened abilities. Second, it’s better to be honest since we can profit. Here.”
Nik procures a packaged box from his Scar of Infinity. Ray tilts her head.
“Translation Bread Maker?” she asks. “Wait… your Kopi Kopi no Mi produces permanent copies?” Her eyes widen.
Nik nods. “So, we can buy the things we like by pooling our AP. To be honest… I wouldn’t even need that. I can copy expensive items and earn as much AP as I want, but sharing this technical advantage is better.”
“Better for me,” Ray shifts her gaze from the box. “But how will this benefit you? I know I’m powerful, but I admit you’ve had me beat in versatility. You…”
Realization flashes in her gaze before she sighs. “You want me to become your progenitor.”
“Yes,” Nik nods. “You said it wasn’t worth picking a fight with another progenitor… what about now?”
“I become your layer of protection, and we share the benefits of Kopi Kopi no Mi… not only that, the Devil Fruit will impact your next evolution, and it may benefit your progenitor more,” Ray mutters. “Truly, you’re an ass with this carrot-and-stick method. A good friend would offer a cute button like me all the benefits without these schemes.”
“Bitch please,” Nik rolls his eyes. “Saki’s cuter than you, and she doesn’t have a succubus bloodline.”
“Oh?” Ray perks up. “How was your date with Saki?”
“Awesome,” Nik smiles. “Now, back on the subject… what do you think?”
Ray grows silent momentarily before offering, “The answer to your question about the awakened fruits not having more exposition is simple… some fruits, often the paramecia kind, have different awakening abilities based on the users. Don’t misunderstand. The essence of the devil fruit doesn’t change, only its applications. So, what you can achieve with the devil fruit is somewhat unknown. And following other’s example may limit your growth.”
“And the topic of you becoming my progenitor?”
“Well,” Ray smirks. “It’s difficult to deny you if you’re so insistent on being under me and wanting to worship me.”
“Indeed,” Nik smiles. “I’m turning to religion. We’re also building a monastery with private confession booths inside the Scar of Infinity.”
“Lemme watch the Avatar cast in nun habit! Please!” Ray blinks before jumping at Nik.
“Ack! Bug off!” he pulls back. “No way I’m letting a perverted guy near my family!”
“Oh! So I’m a guy now? Where was that attitude when you got hard for me—”
“I get hard every morning. That doesn’t mean I wanna fuck the rising sun and the roosting cock!”
The incubus and succubus display their immaculate, gremlin-like charms as the former evades the latter as she continues her perverted pleas.

She looks around, noticing the perimeters of the other two Scars of Infinity. “Of course, it hasn’t even been a year since we met, but we’re hitting all the relationship goals. “You just keep making things weird,” Nik grunts. “And what goals exactly?”
“Hmm?” Ray turns around, barely bothered by the cold. “I mean… we’re almost too honest, have a good vibe, like the same things, and you even invited me to your place. I suppose the next steps will be trauma bonding, bff bracelets, and sharing porn.” There’s no way Ray will never NOT try getting her hands on Nik’s smartphone—the treasury!
“Oh? What trauma?” Nik tilts his head.
“Tut, tut, tut,” she smirks. “Not so fast, pretty boy. We’re here for a spar, right? I haven’t had a good chance to show off since we arrived.” She slips out of her baggy sweatshirt, making a show out of it. Ray smiles, combing her white hair with her fingers, “Do you want me to go all out?”
“How strong is your Epic-Ranked bloodline?” Nik inquires.
“Hmm…” Ray stretches her arms. “It hasn’t been long since I got it. And I’ve yet to commission skills and techniques for my bloodline. You see, there are specific power systems based around the bloodline. One of the more popular ones is a high-grade meditation technique. But it’s not something I included in my shared information since I don’t know the first thing about them. As for how strong I am… that’s what the spar is for, right?”
“I’m aware,” Nik nods. “Just didn’t know we could commission such techniques.”
“The Reincarnation Trading Hub and the Infinite Auction are the two sides of the coin representing Paradise’s peak market,” she explains. Meanwhile, another Rank 9 Host—Archive—is best known for its knowledge. Their stores have special commission counters about developing such techniques. They’re pricey as hell, even for me, so I didn’t think of visiting their stores so soon.”
She eyes Nik. “Meditation techniques optimize our stats and improve our growth potential. But they don’t go a long way.”
“What do you mean?” Nik wears his tank top.
“The Executive that hired me… said that all paths converge. I don’t know too much about these things.”
She appears awkward. “On that note… I’m not a trained fighter. I just know how to move my body due to the experience of fighting other hosts. That’s fine, right?”
“It’s better,” Nik grins. “Just punches. Don’t try to blow me out using your devil fruit.”
“I’ll try,” she beams at Nik before flickering and appearing beside him. Scars of Infinity is one location where hosts like Nik and Ray can go all out. However, Ray stops her right hook centimeters from Nik’s face before booping his nose.
Nik stares at her fist before relaxing his stance.
“You bum-rushed most of your enemies, right?”
“But all of them had senses like yours and tended to hide within their Scars. I was lucky to kill one of them before we met,” Ray sighs. “I admit, the jump between power from the Rare to Epic-ranked bloodline is massive. But I’m barely scratching its surface… especially my energy reserves. You can sense it, right? I barely have double your reserves despite outclassing you in physical traits.”
Nik nods. However, he refrains from questioning the cause of such a situation. Ray will likely open up on her own.
“So?” Ray wags her brow, diverting from the tense topic. “Colored you surprise, did I?”
“No?” Nik sits on the snowy ground. “I expected the difference. So? What’s your highest limit?”
“I haven’t tried it… but some hosts call epic-ranked bloodlines nuclear potential. My highest peak, if I had the energy to create such a bomb, should be similar. Of course, we all would have died if I tried something like that on that train.” She sits down with a huff. “The Scar of Finite reflected our attacks and stuff. Not much I could do about that.”
“Even that chaos flames had you cornered.” Nik notes. “So, not everything is about unadulterated force.”
“Hmm,” Ray smiles. “Now,” her gaze brightens. “Onto the good stuff!”
She procures something from her Scar of Infinite.
It’s a brown oval egg with a zig-zagged cream stripe belting in the middle.
“This is Eevee’s egg,” Ray smiles. “I need to eventually check out Archive’s stores for an incubator, but it’s fine for now. Try it.”
Nik touches the egg as Ray refrains from pointing out if Nik has already copied her familiar egg. Chances are he did… but failed to replicate a familiar. Ray doesn’t mind these things. She wouldn’t have been better.
Heck, she would have been worse than Nik!
So, it’s relieving and heartwarming for Ray… such respect and candidness attract her more than those well-chiseled eight— ehm!
Ray observes Nik’s expression crumpling as he tries to conjure another egg.
He exhales sharply before a similar egg appears between the duo.
Ray blinks, grabbing the egg and inspecting it from every direction before nodding. “It’s legit, Nik. Finding your limits will be a fun side project,” she smiles. “As promised, my Eevee egg is yours for six more copies.”
Nik nods before sighing. “I’m low on chi—”
Ray produces a small, index-finger-long capsule with a red cap. Luminous blue liquid shimmers within the item.
Nik matches Ray’s gaze as she reveals a crooked grin. “It’s an energy capsule… although it offers a temporary boost in energy reserves of the essential kind, like Chi, Ki, Bio-Energy, and Life Energy… I totally used it to practice my Prana Bindu. Nobody cares if the temporary energy is permanently lost, right?”
“You couldn’t have shown it to me when your familiar sucked me dry?” Nik grunts. “Fuck… I could have gone longer with Saki yesterday…”
Her lips twitch at his pouting expression before she scoffs. “We only got to sharing stuff. Besides… it doesn’t take a genius to know that your ‘poor’ performance wasn’t the same for Saki. I pity her. She had to tackle an incubus for her first time.”
Nik accepts the capsule before shamelessly creating a copy of it.
Ray deadpans as Nik eventually recovers his reserves and then some more. Meanwhile, he also has some questions.
“Your information had something intriguing, Ray.” Nik uncaps the capsule before chugging the slightly slimy concoction. “Can you explain what verse comparison means?”
“Oh, that?” Ray nods as she crosses her arms. “Basically, the rules of a few power systems can be applied from one verse to another. That much was written in the info package. So, I’ll explain it with an example.”
She puckers her lips and squints her eyes, pondering.
“So, there is something called a binding vow. It’s present with Nen and Cursed Energy. We treat our reserves and techniques as a contract, while the binding vows are the clauses where we limit one aspect of our skills to benefit others. For instance, I can limit myself by using my illusion skill once per week and increase the range of the ability by 4 times.”
Nik chugs another capsule of energy liquid before he replicates an Eevee egg.
“Nen is present in everyone, right? Do I have nen?”
“Yep, it’s just foundational energy present within everyone,” Ray explains. “What differentiates this energy in different verses is their biology. Humans in One Piece verse are different from the Naruto verse. The former have bodies that grow after every grueling battle. Sky’s the limit for them.”
“Meanwhile, the humans in Naruto’s verse have chakra instead of haki due to the differences in their biology. There are also elemental benders in Avatar’s verse. They have their chi to manipulate several elements. Hmm, the force is also similar. Essentially, humans are different in each verse. Our stat panel compares our stats with the most basic of humans. It’s why I warned you not to allow your family into other worlds.”
“Of course, the same cannot be said for the home world catered for our needs.” She smiles as Nik produces the fourth egg.
“But you’re a different case, right? You learned to bend elements because of Mokshi. It had nothing to do with your biology. Now you’re a copyhuman. Maybe you can mimic other power systems?” She cups her chin. That would be extraordinary, but it will also be time-consuming.”
She glances at Nik, noticing his hesitation.
“What is it?”
Nik produces the fifth egg while sighing.
“I’ve had this thought. I’m hesitant about it, but…”
“Let me critique it,” she grins. “I’ve read and watched a lot of shows. Maybe I already know the answer to your issue.”
He thins his lips before sighing.
“What if I can eventually copy myself? I… it’s not like those shadow clones from the chakra power system. They sound very useful, but I want copies of myself for a different purpose,” he reveals. “There might come a day where just one Nik won’t be enough. The girls don’t have any complaints now. But what about later? I’m trying to think of a way that divides me in mind and body so I can be with my lovers, train, oversee the development of the Scar of Infinity, and explore the outside world. Something like the wood clones… but permanent.”
Ray sinks into silence before muttering, “Damn… I never thought harem management would be tough.”
“What did you think it would be?” Nik smiles.
“Orgies,” she replies bluntly.
“Well, there is that,” Nik admits. “But I don’t want Katara and others to feel resentful just because I’m busy. I’ve pleased one too many housewives back in the day to understand it’s an issue I better get ahead of.”
Ray nods.
“I wouldn’t want you feeling cucked by your clones, too. Shadow clones are weird that way,” she chuckles. “But don’t you have an answer? Design a skill or technique. You have Mokshi’s paradox and the Kopi Kopi no Mi. Maybe look into Nen for it. You already have the training tips.”
Nik raises his brows in surprise.
“You believe I’m a conjurer.”
Ray shrugs.
“Nope. But Nen is open that way. You can learn anything except the specialist’s Hatsu in time. Or, try to develop your bloodline to possess a bloodline skill with similar effects. If you think about it, you can learn from wood and shadow clones to design a jutsu of your liking or spend AP to get the perfect Hana Hana no Mi can create shared clones. The choices are endless.”
“I hadn’t thought of Hana Hana no Mi,” Nik accepts before frowning. “Do you think I can permanently copy devil fruit abilities? Would that also include their awakened abilities?”
“Maybe?” Ray thinks. “Probably because your fruit is awakened, that’s why. Want to give it a shot?”
“Can I?” Nik blinks.
She smiles and extends her hand.
Nik reaches out and holds Ray’s hand before closing his eyes.
He thinks about copying her ability onto himself—
“Ah, fuck! You asshole,” Nik smiles bitterly, his words sounding too sweet to be true. He feels… light and small as he takes his hand back, matching Ray’s eye level as she stares back with amazement, glee, and barely contained urge to push him down.
“How do I look?” Nik rolls his eyes as Ray produces a mirror.
Yep.
Nik looks like Ray…
He touches his chest—
“Oi! Don’t grope me!” Ray snaps as Nik offers her a deadpan before looking at his hands.
*Crackle*
Sparks and tiny explosions emerge above his palm before he frowns.
“Hmm, it’s just the devil fruit ability. I don’t feel any stronger.”
“Aren’t you greedy?” Ray giggles. “Copying devil fruit abilities must be easier. But the rest consumes your energy… and your reserves are lower than mine, much less raw stats. So, your ability to perform an incomplete copy is because of my Bomu Bomu no Mi. The question is… can you do it without copying my appearance, and if it’s a permanent copy.”
Nik nods and tries again, but nothing changes.
“Any thoughts?” He inquires as his form shifts out of Ray’s appearance.
Ray nods.
“Some,” she affirms. “Since you copy my body to use my devil fruit ability, your fruit’s ability must be limited by how our skills interact with our bodies. As things are, copying techniques endlessly may just destroy our bodies and souls. So, your skill removes that issue by just copy-pasting the target’s body. To permanently copy a skill would be to permanently change something within your body—something outside the domain of your fruit’s ability. But you can permanently copy things externally… so you can possibly clone me or others.”
“Even the Scar of Infinity?” Nik blinks owlishly.
“If you have the reserves for it,” Ray shrugs, appearing calm.
“You’re… taking this a lot better than I’d imagined,” Nik sighs as he replicates the final egg.
“Am I?” Ray blinks. “Don’t get me wrong. I’m surprised. I’m also happy for you… and us. We can earn a lot. But… I can probably destroy a small town or a city at my best with a full-powered punch… being weird is normal for us.”
She looks at the egg beside Nik, smiling. “Take care of the little guy.”
“I will,” Nik nods. He was already looking for wedding gifts… and he found them.
“We’ll have some fun in my Scar of Infinity next time,” Ray smirks. “My familiar already stopped accepting more energy… so she’ll be out in a few days. Thanks for the help, Nik.”
“You got it,” he grins.
“So…” Ray clears her throat. “Are you going to let me out? You won’t spit on my trust and then my face by keeping me here and forcing me to lick your delicious—”
Nik tosses her out in the blink of an eye.
“First , Pabumon, and now Eevee,” Nik smiles. “I guess I’m getting luc— Nah, let’s not jinx it. I wonder if I can copy someone’s luck…”
He narrows his eyes.
He wants to try it… but how can he measure luck?
‘Maybe a nen ability that measures luck?’ Nik blinks before feeling something amiss.
“Wait a second,” he straightens his back. “Chi and Nen are almost similar. The difference lies in the people… that energybending skill I used on June…”
He frowns.
“Isn’t it similar to nen initiation?”
Nik sinks in silence.
“Oh… oh, fuck. No wonder June can’t bend for shit aside for a few pebbles.”
He just realized what to spend the rest of his vacation on.

And I remember way back that there was a mention of some sort of sex-change situation with Ray and their bloodline. But what is Ray's current sex actually? Male with female add-on's? the reverse?
