“Well,” Revy licks her ice cream cone. “I should have expected something weirder, given how your cum tastes.”
“Can you not say that out loud?” Nik sighs.
“Others can’t understand what I’m saying,” Revy retorts.
“Yep,” Ray gulps. “I can’t understand one word. So? You were saying something about Nik’s taste. I read on the internet that it’s often salty.”
“We’re eating food,” Nik snaps at the duo. “Can we not talk about it?”
“Can you not stick it inside any moving thing with a hole?” The brunette scoffs. “It’s butterscotch,” she spills. “Weird, right? Almost as weird as you ripping a man’s face out and appearing from holes in the sky.”
“Butterscotch?” Ray thins her lips before glancing at Revy’s ice cream. “Revy, what flavor is that?”
“Butterscotch,” the woman mutters, licking it again. “But I’d rather have this than the man whore’s splooge.”
“Are you angry about me and Balalaika?” Nik inclines his head.
[Smexy-succu-succu: Gee, what gave you that idea? *It’s Sarcasm*]
Nik rolls his eyes.
[Nut-Cracking-Messiah: Shove it, asshole. *Not a sarcasm.*]
“Why would I be angry?” Revy opens her mouth and clamps it around the complete ice cream, leaving a pitiful, half-eaten cone in her wake before swallowing hard and glaring at Nik. “No reason for me to get angry.”
[Smexy-succu-succu: That Ice Cream was probably your dick in her mind.]
“Didn’t you say you have other stuff to do?” Nik glances at Ray. “Or being the third wheel is so important?”
She pouts, “Fine! Hmph, Bye. I won’t return your calls even if you miss me!”
[Smexy-succu-succu: JK! Do call me for some fun stuff. Japan should have the highest concentration of the Hosts.]
Ray skips through the empty playground, leaving Revy and Nik alone on their bench beside the pole lamp as they stare at the well-maintained slide and a couple of other swings. Revy continues to chew her cone while Nik quietly licks his mint ice cream. Oh, he hates it. He wanted to try it for the sake of it, but Nik doesn’t like to waste food.
“Are your lovers and fiancees retarded?” Revy speaks after a while.
“No, they aren’t. And I won’t let you speak about them that way either.” Nik responds calmly, licking the slightly green ice cream.
Revy glances at the man before giggling, “You won’t? Is that a fact? What are you going to do about it?”
“Shoving this ice cream down your throat would be a start,” Nik shrugs.
“I told you it’s shit.”
“Yeah, I should have listened,” Nik chuckles before shaking his head. “I’ve been thinking about it, and I would like you to meet them, Revy. Even if you don’t want to meet them, there’s still something about me I’d like you to see.”
“Give me a break,” Revy crosses her legs, sprawling her arm on the bench, “Don’t treat me like them. We were never a thing—and we never will be—you Sentimental Bastard.”
Nik stretches his hand toward Revy, smiling at her, “I’m not doing this because we’re a ‘thing.’ I just want to brag about how awesome I am, and it’s not just because of multiple lovers. I want you to meet my actual companion the most.”
The brunette stares at his hand before frowning, “And what the fuck does it have to do with holding your hand?”
Nik rolls his eyes, “I want to be sappy and hold your hand, alright? Is that so bad after the things we already did?”
She scoffs, “I’m going to shoot you if the word about this gets out.”
“It’s a deal,” Nik smiles as Revy’s hand slowly reaches and touches Nik’s left hand before hesitantly interlocking with his fingers. She looks away, finding peculiar intrigue with the slides as her body shifts near Nik.
“You understand I’m a lost cause, don’t you?” She mutters without looking at him as Nik directly swallows the ice cream before sighing, “Nah, you’re fine. It’s mint that’s lost cause.”
Before Revy can say anything, her vision shifts—
---
Ray enjoys the stares from passersby as she skips through the streets of Tokyo during its lively nightlife. Her bobbing white locks and pink irides attract enough attention already. Her charm, without a conscious exposure of her bloodline—something Nik doesn’t seem to have complete control over yet—exponentially rises when coupled with a baggy green shirt that almost goes past her shorts.
‘Aw, man. I wish someone would approach me,’ Ray huffs as she enters a grocery store before leaving with a bag of snacks, which she promptly stores inside her personal space after finding a discreet corner.
‘I need to revise my plans.’ The woman wouldn’t like to admit it, but impatience doesn’t always pay off when dealing with distasteful elements like Chaka. That man, in the original work, would destroy an innocent life just because he wanted to set up a gang. It would be hypocritical of Ray if she believes she cares about Yukio’s Bodyguard’s life. It’s only Yukio whose suicidal end made Ray worse. And like the many selfish hosts currently in the world, she wants to do what she desires the most.
‘Before that—’ Ray stuffs her hand inside her pockets before taking out an unusual device not too different from a smartphone, but it only displayed numbers.
16.
‘16 left, huh?’ She stores the device back in her personal space. ‘One of the hosts, I think someone named Jun-Sena-Ching, died early. It’s still unclear if another host had a hand in their elimination. The other three must have given up on the mission. Of the 16, Nik and I know of four: Accu-mulet, Lava-Head, ‘The Herd,’ and the demon guy from the Auction who tried to take the twins.’
The thought of Auction fills Ray’s mouth with a bitter taste.
‘He’s already reached for the twins, meaning his targets extend to other casts of Black Lagoon, too. Given our proximity to them, there’s a chance we’ll confront each other soon. And there’s Lava-Head from Nik’s side, who’s shown himself to be a classic brawler. But believing that’s all the enemy is capable of would be stupid.’
She strolls through the livelier parts of the city to slightly shadier locations. Sights of women and even a few high schoolers hanging out near cheap hotels become ordinary as they conduct their ‘business.’ Ray’s appearance attracts further attention as a few men, probably returning from their jobs, reach for the succubus. Ray’s flat refusal is only how far they go as she walks past them.
‘I know we cannot kill Koro-Sensei - not unless he wants one of us to kill him. Maybe someone like Accu-mulet will have a chance if he breaks his limits. But the limiter ring has a time limit of five seconds.’
She can tell from personal experiences and Paradise’s rating of the mission that Koro-Sensei’s abilities match an Executive’s. The chance of them even laying a finger on that loveable goof is close to zero.
‘Yet his classroom almost killed him multiple times.’ She muses. ‘It’s probably because of the plot. I wish hosts like us had plot armor or something. Maybe we do have it and don’t know about it? It’ll be a classic Deadpool moment.’
She enters a barely-lit alley, finding men squatting in the distance and giggling like kids.
‘And the idea of me changing Nik’s mind about ranking up so early is impossible since Accu-mulet’s appearance made me feel the same. It’s absurd how different a mission and Paradise Jump can be when coupled with someone with a higher rating.’
After all, she hadn’t met a host like Accu-mulet in her previous travels.
‘But there are other ways to gain more benefits before losing out on the benefits of saving or killing Koro.’
[Optional Objective: Destroy The High Table
Mission Rank: 2
Rewards: 1x Gold Mystery Box
Time Limit: —]
‘Nik said three of its members are done in by Lava-Head’s supposed partner. The news reports indicate ‘The Herd’ is in China. Assuming he deals with the Triads, eight Crime Lords should remain. One of them is in Japan, no? The rewards for completing the mission would go to the host who deals with the last remaining Crime Lord AND his business.’
Her footsteps attract the squatting men as she keeps strolling in their direction.
‘If I can kidnap one of these Crime Lords, I can hopefully earn the rewards.’
The men share glances before smirking lewdly as one of the youths with a beanie on his head whistles, “Hey, foreigner~! Do you understand Japanese?” He chuckles and speaks in slightly broken English. “Alone is dangerous, baby.”
‘Nik’s busy with his ways of doing things. I should offer him a chance to complete the mission with me once I have enough base as leverage. Let’s keep it to myself until then.’
She smiles at the men, blowing a kiss in their direction as pinkish-fog-like vapors swiftly cloud the alley, leaving them in a daze. Ray glances down, finding their erections pressed tightly against the confines of their trousers. Smirking mischievously, she softly questions, “Can you do me a favor and touch this?”
Ray retrieves a pink crystal ball. One can observe a wisp-like reddish mist flowing inside the orb.
‘I should also focus on this egg aside from the mission. Who knew Accu-mulet would have such an amazing thing to trade.’
She recalls her trade with the strange Host. She didn’t have enough AP for it, but she did have information that Accu-mulet desired the most—Quality of Life Hacks.
In their line, such hacks mean to follow specific actions to maximize the benefits of a rank-up. For instance, Ray had a clear idea of how many worlds a person could travel before earning the bonus of Rank-Up, something Nik gained in his first world. She also knew the benefits of being an Executive and how exactly one can reach that stage since it’s not just the collection of AP that allows one to become Paradise’s closest confidante. Becoming an Executive is similar to entering a closed club with certain benefits that can change a host’s life and outlook entirely!
That knowledge and the sum of her current AP earned her this item.
[Familiar Egg: A mystical artifact crafted by the demon lineages of one of the many demonic dimensions. It has boosted affinity with bloodlines categorized ‘Demonic’ under Paradise’s records. The egg connects with its host’s lineage and needs certain conditions to hatch.]
Ray knew how to hatch the egg due to peculiar experiences, allowing her to make such a purchase without thinking twice about it.
The second the men touch the crystal-like egg, the red mist within the orb forms multiple mist tendrils and reaches out to interact with the men’s hands, barred from direct contact due to the crystal-like shell.
The seven men groan at once, feeling weak in their knees as their erections quickly subside.
“There!” Ray pulls back with a cheerful smile as the red mist starts rolling in the egg, smashing against the shell until Ray brings the egg to her eye level.
“You’re a greedy one, aren’t you?” She smirks. “But I can’t have men dying for you. It just means that I have to find more men. Sigh, it would be so easy if I used my essence.” Ray shakes her head. She tried to do so, but the egg, now attached to her lineage, didn’t need a woman’s essence.
The mist inside the egg calms down as Ray quietly sends it back to her personal space. Glancing at the men, Ray advises, “Please don’t masturbate for the coming week. You will need all the rest you can get~!”
She turns around, leaving while glancing at her status.

‘It’s a pity my Familiar will have to train to grow, too. Those other Familiar Eggs that just hatch the strongest familiars right off the bat are too much of a cheat!’
Ray scowls.
‘Man, Familiar Egg also makes me want to go to Pokemon, or Digimon! How nice would it be to have a Gardevior and an Angewomon for Hansel and Gretel~!’
Her smirk turns lewder, ‘And I also want to test if that online post about Flareon being the most ‘compatible’ Pokemon is accurate. Not that I have the ‘hardware’ to test it, but someone inside Poke-verse must have tested it, right?’
She stops, and her expression darkens.
‘Or I could go to the Auction.’
Ray thinks for a while before spitting on the ground. ‘Fuck them! The only way I’m ever catching a Pokemon is the right way—by wearing my cap backward and throwing one loop of a Pokeball!’
