very cool

Yes it is! It looks like we both have many of the same influences so I'm going to be watching your game closely as well. Good luck!

Is it the Gravastar game? I just checked it and wow, it looks gorgeous and beautiful, really well done, the artstyle is just great! Now, it just made me more inspired , thank you(^v^) And now that you have moved to 3d, and can play around with the camera, there are really lots of potential there

Thanks! You too. We're using a toon shader to make it look 2D and are doing some other tricks with movement and such. I'm really happy with it so far and excited about what we can do with cameras now.

Yes, I agree. 2D can easily get overwhelming, with 3D, we have more flexibility. And we still also have the option of stylizing the 3D to make it look 2D w/ the help of shader or with a stylize hand-painted texture. I wish you the best with your project (★^O^★)!

We had to do the same thing for my game. We were doing 2D hand-drawn sprites but it's so crazy expensive and time-consuming. We're redoing everything in 3D and it's really put us back by well over a year.

Thank you for liking this dev post, yes, I'll try my best not to push too hard, so that I can also make better content, Mine I haven't opened my 3DS copy yet, but I can only expect great things when I play as they improve a lot on it with legend of legacy as basis (ᗒᗨᗕ)

Thank you too Tony for sparing your time to read this, I'm glad you find it a really cool insight (*≧∀≦*)

Tony Cooper

I really appreciated the amount of detail you put in, you don't need to simplify it, I like the technical terms

I like the detail in this dev post and that you will do you things a bit slowly and dont want to push yourself anymore. I'm also interested in the HD remake of alliance alive right now 😄

I'm glad you enjoy this dev post and I apologize if I used too much technical terms (I tried to avoid or simplify them as much as I can(ᗒᗨᗕ)). I'm really grateful for your support, and I'll keep doing my best (ง `ω´)۶

I think that was the best dev post I've ever read, I'm really invested in your work 😁 I don't know a lot about game development, but I've been interested since I was a kid, so thank you for going to in depth, it was enjoyable to read. I completely support you making the game at a healthy pace, nothing has ruined a game more than early release dates and crunch time. I don't think true art is something that should be rushed. Keep up the hard work! 😁
