[Tutorial] How to port my HS2 mods into AI
🕑 Added 2020-06-29 01:46:44 +0000 UTCLater on, I will only focus on HS2 (and HS1) modding. That is to say, to make life easier, I won't spend any time on AI porting. If you want to use my HS2 mods in AI, you can refer to the following tutorial.
If you're familiar with my fbx HS->PH porting, this will be very easy.
(In case you wonder, HS2 and AI nearly share the same asset files. But HS1 and HS2 are completely 2 different things. For me, HS1 heads into HS2 is almost the same as original model into HS2. )
[Requirements]
SB3UGS_v20.4.1

1, unzip my HS2 mod into AI root directory (Here I'm porting an AI mod into HS2, but it's the same)
Remember to make a copy of your old files if some of your files needs to be replaced
2, export lash and head meshes and morphs from xyth24_****_head.unity3d under p_cf_head_01 into fbx in the following order
a) mesh0 (lash mesh)
b) o_eyelashes-lash-0 (lash morphs)
c) mesh1 (head mesh)
d) o_head-head-0 (head mophs)
And now you got this:
3. copy my Xyth24_fo_head_00.unity3d into my folder \abdata\chara\xyth24_*****; you can download it from the attachment
4, delete my original xyth24_****_head.unity3d, rename the fo_head_00.unity3d in my folder to xyth24_****_head.unity3d, and open it in sb3u. Change its CABinet into some random string else
5. double-click on Animator p_cf_head_01 and unfold the tree structure, then drag those exported fbx files into sb3u
6. for a) meshes0, drag o_eyelashes and drop onto o_eyelashes under the tree, then hit OK using the following settings
7, click on SkinnedMeshRenderer under o_eyelashes, then click Normals, uncheck the first box, and hit OK
8, change to tab "Morph", choose b) fbx, drag lash into the blank region under Morph
9) now lashes are done, same operations with head mesh c) and head morphs d)
remember to choose the right material for head mesh, if memory serves me correct, it's the first cf_m_skin_head_00
10) save and enjoy

Can you do one on porting HS1 files to HS2, or does it do that already?
