I'm now working on a final fantasy character. Recently, some people complain that my HS ports on FF character doesn't resemble the original character. I think that's because HS's main texture loses a lot of details. That's the nature of HS texture, you have to make it pale and do a lot of processing.
I cannot guarantee my HS ports resemble the original characters. The only thing I can guarantee though is that all my ports are of similar style, that's my style of texture processing.
I think PH is much better in this regard. It seldom loses any detail. And that's why I want to put more of my energy onto PH. At least I don't have to worry all day about anyone telling me that my port is not like at all... I can be less anxious while making mods.
