A certain user on Nexusmods published a mod, using my preset in the pictures (the preset itself was not available to download). Other users in the commens asked about the preset and the author just said it's private. When I opened the author's profile on Nexusmods, I saw hundreds of photos using my presets and I thought "That's nice. Let's see if people ask about the preset in the comments". They asked and they've been lied to - the author hid the fact who is the original creator.
Another preset creator tagged me in the comments and basically gave me credits for making the preset, asking why this info is being hidden. And the drama started. The bodyslide/screenshot author wrote a lot of comments, saying that they're the creator, that they've changed the head mesh etc etc. As you can see from the pictures, only the colors and hairstyle were changed.
And then I asked them to stop the drama, everyone knows who's the original creator already, no need to escalate it any further, just stop. And no surprise, it was just a beginning. You can see (just) a part of the story here, the rest of the pictures are deleted:

What was the drama about?
First, about lying. Then, about making a drama out of nowhere. And finally, about the behavior of some people supporting that 'author'. You can see what kind of comments I got in the first picture. And instead of stopping it, that user played the victim of hate and encouraged others to write that kind of things about me and another preset author who was also involved - same thing happened to them.
Am I angry that I didn't get the credit?
Nope, no need to credit me for the presets you use unless you publish them.
I'm angry because that person couldn't admit their mistake, played the victim and made other people humiliate me because of a stupid preset.
Please don't write private messages to that person, both on Nexus and on Discord - I would get banned for that.
To be clear, that situation will not affect my further work - I will not change the rules of using my work and I will still publish mods.
But I'm making a break anyway to gather some new ideas and learn new skills.

There will always be people in the world who are ready to take someone else's job and still blame the creator for his rights. For me, your presets are the best, I've tried hundreds of others before them and everything was terrible until I found you. Good job, I'm looking forward to new presets Unfortunately, starting tomorrow, I will no longer be able to buy a subscription, because my country is under sanctions and my bank card does not work (even now I am sitting on a VPN so that I can log in to Patreon)

I was only interested in the selene preset and some other preset that didn't have a have a description on how to install. I didn't look at the other ones. I paid literally just to get that preset .I admired the work of the Serana replacer I saw on Nexus.

I appreciate you clearifying your intensions with the lol comment. I am not a native English speaker either and I understand where you are coming from. I did not know there was a fuse between two presets, so excuse my ignorance on that front. Thank you for being honest, your points are all fair and I wish you the best.

The sculpt is literally the same and the colors and faceparts are taken from Solara. I made both presets so I can see which parts are used exactly and I don't see anything I haven't made there. It's literally a combination of two of my presets merged together. As for "lol", I think you don't account the cultural differences. I'm not an english speaker and that was meant to release the tension, not to be snarky. I'm not a company and I'm not a professional, I'm trying to behave like myself.

For the record I am not disappointed with your work - your work is fantastic and I thank you. I would be disappointed because the presets look so different. You have to really dissect the details in order to find the similarities. My point is that I wish you would simply conduct yourself in a slightly more professional manner and not add snarky "lol" comments.
