October was a tough month. Our pug Ping passed away, and toward the end of the month we had a scare with our cat Haggis. Twice we thought we were going to lose him, but he seems to be recovering. If you’ve watched a live Q&A you’ve met Haggis, so please take a moment to send some good thoughts his way.
November is the month of HOUSE SIVIS, and the first Sivis article will be posted this week!

As a general rule, I will only answer a maximum of one question per patron per month, so if you ask a lot of questions I'll only answer one of them, but you can always pose unanswered questions again next month!

At what point in time was the Valrean Protectorate created? Was it contemporaneous with Dhakaan's war with Q'barra, or more like the wars with the Tairnadal? Or did it happen after Vol was wiped out?

In a previous answer regarding possible motivations for the quori and their minions to travel to Siberspace, you mentioned the idea of them attempting to extend their influence on a global scale by creating hanbalani satellites. IYE, what sort of impact (if any) would such a development have on the elves of Aerenal and the dragons of Argonnessen, and what sort of response would you expect from them, assuming Riedra's ability to reach Siberspace is still relatively new and more or less unknown on Khorvaire?
