I'd love to know what you all think of this material. My goal is to record as much of this as I can tonight. If I can just record an ungodly amount of material in 24 hours, I'll be able to get the entire video RECORDED before I leave on my trip out of town. But I'm really hoping people think I managed to talk about this material without limiting its impact OR just stealing the book outright. Would love any notes people have. 40 pages in total.

This is a great review! another resource for kids who need help is Safe Place: nationalsafeplace.org . Also Jennette McCurdy has a podcast called Hard Feelings from Lemonada media, it's really good!

I think it's worthwhile to talk about where her career went after iCarly, but the personal details in the book don't need to be super in-depth.

Now that I've had time sit and think about this, I think that after the "I hate being known as Sam" clip the script edges a bit into the territory of just recapping the ending of the book. I think it would be better to leave the rest of the book as something you have to get the book to find out. Jeannettes refusal to attend the kids choice awards is kind of symbolic of her exiting the NSU, and you could use the fact that you didn't even get to the craziest revelations in the book to push people to go and read it. Everything that happens after the kca is part of the story of Jeannette McCurdy self actualizing not iCarly or Sam and Cat.
