Disintegrity 9 remake

Anyway ! This page didn't change much from the old to new beside that it looks less crap, there's only one change that I'd consider worth talking about : I removed the Hey Arnold reference. For those who don't know, Helga Pataki is a character in a 90's animated series called Hey Arnold, she was in love with the protagonist (and had a secret love shrine that included a bust made out of chewing gum) but she would bully him instead of coming out with her feelings.
So it's fitting enough ! Why remove it ? Cos it's not relevant. For one, Hey Arnold is pretty old by now, to the point where i feel like i have to explain who Helga Pataki is. For two, I feel like it's just a bit too overt of a reference. Having The scythe from Soul Eater on the wall ? That's discreet enough. Direct mention by one of the character to some cartoon ? Heeeh. It would have to fit the character. I guess Hey Arnold would suit Zee fine, he looks grunge enough to like 90's shit, but eh. I feel it's better when it's not there.
So yeah. It's gone.

I know, I liked it too and some others mentioned finding it funny as well but I can only imagine it's a bit awkward for anyone who doesn't get the reference, even if the context explains it a little

Yeh, Zee looked awkward cos his arms were too short, his shoulder too low and the folds of his top were incomprehensible. I forgot to mention one change I thought was important in that panel too, it's being able to see Larsen's face and expression when he speaks, it helps make it feel more natural

I really like what you've done with the page. The reference from hey Arnold really helped me understand the situation a lot better when I had my first go at reading this story. It's sad to see it go.

Great work! E.g. Zee's pose in the middle panel looks more natural and is a better image of his inner struggle. And again there is another detail for me, which I didn't see in the older version: Zee's and Larsen's opposing profiles in the upper right. I only saw Zee earlier. Thank you!
