more highschool shenanigans with these two!! someone correctly pointed out in the last post that they'd be wearing uniforms so i had the very fun exercise of figuring out how they'd wear their uniforms differently (let's just imagine that first comic as them on a casual clothes day). I always imagine simon in baggy clothing, so i think he'd be the type to always wear a sport jacket over his clothes, and johnny's a lot more free-spirited with an undone tie and his shirt untucked (don't tell his mam, she'll have his head)
and hey! tommy's here too! I always relish an opportunity to think about simon and tommy together, i always find it so interesting thinking about simon as an older brother. My personal headcanon is that they've always had a testy relationship, due to the years between them in age, and also because they take after opposite parents (tommy looks more like their mum, and simon their dad). In this universe, Tommy's always resented Simon for being bigger than him physically and unwilling to use that for anything useful (i.e standing up to their dad) but their living situation is complicated and Simon's just trying to survive until he can graduate.

I hope we explore this concept mooooore. Especially if they get closer. Would it affect them joining the military? Would they enlist together? Would Johnny burn down the world to retrieve Simon ie Roba (imagine this leads to him punching the military police officer)? Would he keep an eye on his family while he was ‘deceased’ and somehow intervene Christmas? God so many future possibilities but Simon just having that ONE person he can potentially trust and confide in NOW as a CHILD!!!! is making me FEEL so many THINGS. *rips shirt off* SIMONNNNNNNNNNNN anyway I love this au so much!!!!!
