And even tough I spent an absurd amount of time trying to make it look decent, I've reached the limit of my skill level. If I spend too much time on drawing it means that I'm also not working on coding and design so I had to stop somewhere... the woes of working alone I guess.
The werebat (or batgirl) is the newest enemy and she will be mostly encountered on the underground areas (although for now she's only located on the new area). As she is mostly blind, her method of attack is to emit an echo-location signal and if it hits a prey, she will swoop down on that location to grab it.
As for the ero scene it's a lesbian face grind, with a grab scene where the bat gets some nourishment from the prey's neck. The face grind is depicted sideways, so there was an issue with the wing blocking the action. The obvious answer was to draw the scene with no wing, but I figured that some people would enjoy having the wing there so the final solution was to have both versions built in and let the players decide how they want display it.
By pressing the key that toggles internal views (default "T"), the batgirl scene can be cycled through 4 "states": a combination of wing on/off and internal view on/off. So please just keep pressing the key until the scene is displayed as you prefer.
The new stage is the final main underground area. It can be accessed by going through the right path at the bottom of the abandoned mines.
This new area will actually be quite relevant to the story that I want to tell in the game. But as I haven't even entered the story phase of the development yet, it will remain quite empty and barren, more or less a place-holder for when I go back to flesh it out, as I also want to redraw the backgrounds specially.

Now for the next release:
- Werewolf Boss Fight, will have a transformation/lycanthropy curse gimmick.
- Voice/Moans for Maya! I've already commissioned a voice actress and the results are amazing! The addition of moans and stuff will enhance all the current ero scenes.
- Next stage, returning to the surface
- Adding internal views to the early enemies (Forest Mother, starfish, etc)
- New "Flaming Sword" attack skill

Yes I can fine tune the bats behavior and make them a bit more aggressive. Also the gong idea is interesting I'll see how it plays out

Any chance you could up the difficulty or chase-yness of the bats and add gongs to throw them off? Would be cool

Saw the new scene, and hot damn, that's a spectacularly well done cut-in window, along with the great new scene as well. Didn't have enough time to fully scope out the new level, but I'll do that soon. The new upcoming stuff looks pretty interesting. Congrats on getting a VA for Maya. They can really add to a scene, so I'm excited to hear how it'll sound in-game.

It's at the bottom of the mines, which you'll find in the mountains - that path between the forest and the village. Once you reach the bottom of the mines, there's two ways to go. Going left takes you to the mushroom girls, going right will take you to the new area with the bats.
