Kairi is all yours to control!
The first playable character is here!
You can perform all actions you could before, but now, while controlling a Kairi, this is only the beginning and the core movement mechanics.
The next part will add the ability to interact with the other characters and perform different actions in the first and 3rd person.
You can switch between the First and 3rd Person by pressing "V"
Height Adjustment will make Kairi squat. This will be helpful with the interactions later.
You can switch the camera position to left or right in the Options/Controls.
You can also change the camera distance between Close, Medium and Far inside Options/Controls.

New and improved Settings Menu
The settings menu was the last thing needing an overhaul, now with a new look
but the biggest changes are underneath.
Now it's a lot faster and less buggy, and it will help me make changes and adjustments quickly and reliably.
Input bindings are coming in the next release because I'm moving to a new system, and there were some issues.
- Changes/Fixes
Camera-Lock is now Left-CTRL, not Left Mouse Button
The Toy manual rotations are fixed now. Rotating it feels a lot better, and there is a button to switch it on/off.
Inside Settings/Gameplay, there is now a "Patreon Verification Update" Button that will trigger new verification
this is in case you upgrade from BLUE to RED. You need to trigger verification again to access Dev-Mode.

I hope everyone likes how it feels to control Kairi, and I hope to get some feedback.😊
There is still a lot of work to do, but I'm excited about how this is going.
Next, there will be a new apartment environment with entirely new gameplay mechanics. So the next release will be significant.
There are also some new physics features with Unreal 5 that I need to test, but if they work the way I want will be HUGE, i'll update you later on that!

Well, most likely, DX12 is not supported. For a laptop to work, it needs to have a dedicated graphics card and be less than five or six years old.

Says i need a better graphics card, but im on a laptop, can i fix this?

Go to the game Settings/Gameplay and press Start on the Update Verification, then generate a new Patreon key, which should fix the issue.

Yeah, I think the old way is better, using Kairi is a bit clunky.

Right now, Kairi is the only option. And I wasn't planning to, but now when I think about it won't be a bad idea to put the old way back.

I think I figured out what's causing the problem, and it is related to the Patreon payment system and the API that generates the Keys. If anyone has problems with sudden game shutdowns, contact me directly on Patron or Create a ticket inside Discord
Yep, game keeps crashing. I tried to update, lower graphics, put the patreon code again and still keeps crashing.

Yep, did that. Copied the key and everything, but it still keeps booting me out. It may be because I had to cancel the Patreon due to money limitation, but I still have a couple weeks left, but it's still giving me some issues.

Go to Settings/Gameplay and press the Update Verification Button, after you update it won't crash anymore

I don't know it it's my specs, but it keeps crashing, despite little to no performance degradation. I'll be on for a couple minutes, then GOODBYE!
