Here's what is coming in the next Release
- Playable Characters
With the upcoming release, you won't be invisible anymore but instead will be controlling a character.
At first, the only playable character will be Kairi, but eventually, all characters will be available, and more will come.
The goal is to interact directly with any other character, not only with the help of a toy but directly with the tools the character has AK-Genitalia,
This will take some time to develop, but it won't be long until you can do exactly what you want, and not watch the same pre-made animations.
- You can switch between First and 3rd person anytime you like
- Switch between the left, right and centre camera position
- Height adjustment
- Toy Control
You can control the toys the same way you could before, the camera lock works too, and you can switch between first and 3rd person, respectively, while also controlling a toy.
As I said above, all characters will be playable eventually. However, before I do that, I want to develop the interactions and iron out the controls, the reason that there might be the need for skeletal changes to make them work the way I want.
There will be some UI changes too mainly in the Settings Menu
And lastly, Unreal Engine 5.1 came out recently, and there is some great news the physics problems preventing the VR version from working are all fixed.
Still, I want to finalize the characters before I port them to VR and fix the issues, so expect the VR Release to be around in February.
