Here's what's coming in the next release
VanimateApp
- Toy Controls
Lots of Toy control changes witch are going to help reduce the glitching and make it easier to place the toys inside the desired place
There was a lot of experimentation going on with the controls and even more, options are in the works for the upcoming releases
I am also working on a first-person mode in which to control your own character but that's still a couple of months away
- New Animations
Foxy, Emma and Monica will have new animated poses, Liss is left out because she will have an overhaul next month
VanimateVR
- Hand Grabbing
You can grab everything anywhere and feel the physics, this will be extended in the future to allow you to move characters in any way you want, for now, it's limited to certain body parts only
- Toys
Toys will be added the same way they are in the desktop version but with more direct control still working on the details but it's looking awesome so far.
- 3D Menus
A new menu type, that you can spawn, place anywhere and move around
There's also a menu on your wrist, from which you can spawn 3D menus in the world to use
Note:
Many of you heard the news that the much anticipated Unreal Engine 5 Released
I've already done tests and will begin the transition next month you can expect better physics, fluid simulations and more unique features like dynamically driven animations
Especially the fluid simulations look promising but there's much to do I hope to make it for the next month's release alongside Liss,s overhaul and the new Dragon character
The VR version will take a bit more time to move to the new engine because a lot of the core functionality relies heavily on physics and everything needs to change, but eventually will get there too
And finally, there are a lot of fixes for Monica specifically and also improved physics
