A new look for Monica!
In this release, the main change is Monica's look. She went through a complete overhaul of the skeleton, mesh and textures.
She looks a bit different than before, and I hope everyone likes her new look.
The overall visual quality is a lot better, and at the same time, the performance requirements are lower. Still, you will see the true benefits of this update later on, with better animations, facial expressions and new planned features like dynamic posing.
I almost forgot to mention the wings. I've thought it would be good to add the wings as an option, and they can be removed inside the customization panel.
And with them, I was able to experiment with modular characters parts and expect to see more options in the future.
The one that needs an overhaul next is Liss, and ill make sure to add a much-requested option is to have her "weenie" be removable
- VR Laser hands
Activated by pointing a finger
It will be the core interaction feature.
But, for now, you can use it to grab on characters' physical parts and move them around.
The idea is to make it easier to reach things without moving all the time to grab something and, later on, to be able to control the characters entirely with it.
- Dev-Mode Timeline
When you enter Dev-Mode, you will see a new timeline slider allowing you to stop/start the animations and adjust the position.
Expect more functionality to be added to the timeline in future updates.
- What's Next?
The plan is to have the VR version fully featured with the Toys and Menus finally working for the next Release.
The Toy penetration is not working particularly well right now. It is way too glitchy, so ill work on refining it, and I might have to change the way it works entirely. Right now, it's relying solely on physics, and the benefit of that is how it feels, but it is too clunky to use, so ill explore new options and hopefully find a better solution.

I'll start using less explicit language and images on Post to avoid any problems with Patreon, I hear about horror stories all the time, and I want to avoid ending up in one of them if possible.
I'm slowly developing a Luncher, and the idea is to have that as a main download and information portal.
It would make it easier for everyone to update or download a new version directly from there, it's still a couple of months away, but ill get it done eventually.

Finally some feedback about Monica I was getting worried that nobody likes her π¬ I saw the news about UE5 release and I'm so mad because I'm travelling this week π I'll be back in few days and start converting to the new engine and that will probably brake all the physics π About the fluid simulations they should work from what I tested before, but I'll see next week in more detail and update you on that.

Yup, I've already made a working prototype Now I need to figure out which hosting service to use and what would be the best way to do it so the download speeds are good everyware.

A designated launcher would be awesome so that we don't have to come back to this to get updates or stay up to date.
