Bugfix Update! And a word for our sponsors...
🕑 Added 2020-09-15 00:11:46 +0000 UTCWe're releasing a quick, free update to the demo we released last Friday! There were one or two pretty big, game-crashing bugs that somehow made it past the last phase of testing. But the main that we did was streamline a bunch of stuff!
A lot of the feedback we saw was about how confusing the mini-game was, and how there there was too much clicking involved. This game has spent a few months in development behind closed doors, and we guess our ambition got out of control. We got carried away trying to make the most impressive game ever, when really we should have been making the game fun. It was just too complex.
So now the mini-game is a lot simpler, and a lot less grindy. Expect some fine-tuning of how the meters work later on, but we'll do our best to avoid turning it back into a click-fest.
And to our patrons! You may have noticed that, when you decided to support us (thank you, btw), you gained a special Discord role on our server. Neither of us have any experience managing a community like this, and we mainly expect to use it to gather feedback and send out links once we can afford to rent our own download servers. Again, we thank you for your support! Amazing!
