Updated ETA for v0.10, v0.10a & v0.11
🕑 Added 2023-05-30 16:24:56 +0000 UTCHello everyone,
Apologies for leaving this towards the last minute. I should have made this post two weeks ago, but since these predictions of mine are never accurate I wanted more time to be as sure as I could be. Unfortunately, the only thing I can be 100% sure of at this time is that it won’t be possible to release v0.10 in June as I had previously speculated.
May has been a productive month, but not productive enough to make up for all the time lost in April. So my previous ETA of Mid June does need to be updated to Mid July to accommodate for that. This will give me back the time needed to render enough scenes to justify a release.
I had previously mentioned that I would strongly consider releasing in June regardless of what was complete. However, this relied upon the assumption that an acceptable number of scenes would be completed by the end of May.
Considering that I am still in the midst of rendering the v0.10 scenes, it has become obvious that even a “minimum viable product” type of release is no longer feasible for June. This is because it will take me at least 2 weeks of additional development, after completing these scenes, to prepare the rest of the build for release.
So that is my logic for updating my ETA from Mid June to Mid July. If it were possible to simply release “what is done” in June I would. But for that to be possible, I would needed to have finished all of the renders by now. Which I have not.
I figured this would be the conclusion about 2 weeks ago, so I apologize for not effectively communicating this information sooner. My intention was to deliver this news alongside a clearer picture of where things are headed over the next few months, for both v0.10 & beyond. In hindsight, I probably should have made 2 separate posts to allow for more of a heads up with regards to the delay.
All that said, here are my current plans regarding where content(sex scenes) are now expected to land:
v0.10 [ETA: Mid July]
(In addition to all of the sex scenes added over the previous 3 ALPHA builds)
- [Story] Tiffany & Vanessa (Shared Toy - Vaginal)
- [Story] Debra & Big Barney (Titjob)
- [Story] Iris & Karl (Oral & Vaginal)
- [Story] Iris & Dr Milburn (Oral & Anal)
- [Combat] Iris vs DD Zombie (Vaginal + Anal)
- [Combat] Iris vs Fem Zombie (Fisting)
- [Combat] Iris vs Futa Zombie (69)
- [Combat] Tiffany vs Zombie Iris (Fingering + Tongue-Play)
- [Combat] Tiffany vs Zombie Midget (Vaginal)
v0.10a [ETA: August]
- [Story] Tiffany & Imprisoned Dr Milburn (Doggy-style through bars, w/ Hitomi watching)
- [Glory Hole] Tiffany & Male Zombie (Oral)
- [Cum Extraction] Tiffany vs Zombie Kiana (Combined Double Titjob)
- [Cum Extraction] Tiffany vs Zombie Andre (Cock Worship: Licking, Ball-Play, etc)
My plan moving forward, is to release smaller builds in-between the major ones (the type that will take me more than 1 month to complete). It also gives me a good chance, like in this instance, to catch up on some scenes that had to be cut from the previous major release.
v0.11 in particular has the challenge of having to create a lot of new variations of existing images to accommodate for Tiffany finally getting an outfit to wear on her new Day 3 body types. In addition to continuing the story and exploring a large new playable area in the north of town.
So I anticipate that half of August will be dedicated to getting those new variations done, with the other half dedicated to the above scenes for a v0.10a. Those 4 scenes were selected because they will be the easiest to complete of the scenes that I have chosen to push back from the original v0.11 release. Also, the Hole & Extraction scenes can take place after the prologue, so they’ll roll over the most nicely with your Day 3 save files from the v0.10 Full Release.
v0.11 [ETA: September-October]
- [Story] Viper-8 vs Infected (TBD)
- [Combat & Cum Extraction] Tiffany vs Zombie Hound (TBD)
- More TBD, based $3+ tier polls & timing.
The scenes listed here, alongside what I mentioned above (outfit variations for new body types, story continuation, new town space) will be the primary focuses of v0.11. Whether it will be ready by September or October will depend on how things go with my v0.10 & v0.10a predictions. That will also determine how many scenes I have time for, or if I’ll consider releasing a v0.10b before it. Time will tell.
Assuming things go to plan, I will get the chance to do at least one more sex scene for v0.11. Originally the plan was for some new combat sex scenes/extraction scenes between Tiffany & the Futa/DD Zombies & some content with the Nun & Priest characters. But I want to make sure I am focusing on the scenes players want to see, so I will be putting the additional scene/s to a vote in a new content priority poll for the $3+ tier supporters. That poll will be going up right after this post so keep your eyes peeled.
Previous v0.10 scenes to be pushed to later versions:
- [Story] Hitomi, Vanessa & Jasper (Bath Time)
- [Story] Debra & George (TBD sex)
- [Story] Tiffany & George (Day 2 - “hands on” ammo casting lesson)
- [Story] Tiffany & Lara vs Zombie Romeo (Extended cut to add Oral for both girls)
- [Daily] Dr Milburn trains Imprisoned Hitomi (Milking & Handjob)
- [Daily] Tiffany & Big Barney (Titjob)
None of these scenes are being canceled. The [Daily] scenes will be pushed until we reach Day 5+(in-game) content, as that is a more appropriate spot for them now. Whereas these [Story] scenes here will be included in all upcoming content polls as options for the $3+ tier to choose between (among other scenes).
I’ve been mentioning for around 6 months now that it was going to be necessary to cut down on the number of scenes I was targeting for v0.10. I was never able to deliver on my original promise of v0.10 featuring a lot of “Quantity over Quality” scenes when it came to the amount of renders each scene would have. Every single one of the story scenes I have worked on has had a pretty sizeable image count. This has been great for the final scene of-course, but at the cost of slowing down development time to an unacceptable pace. Clearly too much for me to juggle at once for a single release (even when split up across several alpha builds). Smaller, more manageable & frequent releases is the goal going forward.
Had I known I was going to commit so much time to each scene, I never would have proposed doing so many in v0.10 to begin with. The majority of the new scenes I’ll be shipping with v0.10 (involving Iris) weren't planned from the start, so while I think they are turning out to be good scenes, they have come at the cost of these scenes I had originally promised, so for that I am sorry.
The Iris scenes were never meant to take up much of my time at all, as they were essentially an experiment in a new workflow meant to speed things up. Clearly that didn’t quite pan out, but that’s a story for another time.
Apologies once more for this overdue update. (It didn’t help that it took me 3+ days to write this in-between setting up renders) I thank you all very much for your patience & support. With some hard work, June should be the last month for a while without some form of game release.
