v0.09 Dev Blog #1 - But mostly other stuff...
🕑 Added 2020-09-26 18:45:33 +0000 UTCAt first it was "weekly updates", then it was bigger "development blogs" whenever I felt there was adequate content, then it basically went back to weekly updates for a bit, before nothing for a while... and here we are. Attempting to do something on a weekly basis again... I don't know what to call em, so they're all just numbered "Dev Blogs" from now on regardless of their size, frequency, or how much they actually have to report about the version they're supposed to be covering.
Welcome everyone!
v0.09:
^ Since Lara can be stripped in this version, I need to redo some renders for her. :)
Alright, so not much to report on this front just yet. I'm still in the phase of designing the character models and set pieces that I need, and still need to write the scripts for all of the dialogue. I have all the story beats planned out, just not the actual lines of dialogue written yet.
So what I have done this week is start setting up the first set piece, the Master Bedroom from the Casino's Penthouse Suite (Floor 5). It's where Tiffany & Lara will confront Romeo, make some choice to determine his fate, and fight and/or fuck a unique zombie boss that attacks. It should be a nice scene with a foreplay part and the a main penetration part, though more details will be decided via a poll for the $5+ tiers next week. Right now, those tiers are currently having the deciding vote on the final design of this zombie boss. To decide if he should keep the big 'penis-arm-thing' or not, now that I've actually made the design. I will share the final design with you guys in the $1 tier next week.
Unfortunately I don't have a render to show off of the 3D set piece for this room yet, (since I still have to finish setting up the props, materials and lighting) so you'll have to wait for next week to get a peak at that too. But what I did do was redesign the in-game, 2D version of this room along with a couple of other Penthouse Suite rooms as seen in the screenshot from the top of this post. The main reason for this was so that the 2D area better matched the actual 3D one that I've put together.
It's worth the effort too, since I think my eventual plan is to make this Penthouse Suite are kind of a "Player Home" type area for Tiffany. Later in the game once the building has been cleared of zombies and repairs have been made. So I expect there will be more sex scenes taking place in this bedroom among other rooms.
I've also recently received the final 2D piece for the bonus scene that Flowerxl was working on. I wasn't planning on adding this scene in to v0.09 since it's intended for Day 1/2 Tiffany. But since v0.10 is still a while away, and everything for it is done now, I might as well add it to v0.09. So expect that as well. Special Forces supporters have already been shown all of the base images in sneak peeks. I will show off an in-game preview for everyone else next week after I get around to adding it into the game.
And yes, as I pointed out earlier, since Lara can get stripped while fighting this zombie boss, I need to redo a bunch of her renders for her different states of undress. I've got a bunch of these to do for Lara still so I'll probably show off more during the next week or two.
BONUS CONTENT:
Speaking of Lara, it's been decided that the second Terminal Quickies story will focus on her and her life leading up to the events of Terminal Desires. It will be titled: "Terminal Quickies: A Case Of Conception" and feature a look at Lara's life in her actual job as opposed to playing the undercover role of an Bimbo Maid.
Lara Wells - Age: 35, D.O.B. December 1st. Associate Attorney at "Baxton & West", a prestigious law firm located in Hardwood City. Anyone in need of her on retainer? I hear her fees aren't the only modest part about her ;)
I did these designs of her "attorney look" as references for the artist when they get to drawing her story. It is not the same artist who is working on the Terminal Quickies: Jailbreak story (The one with Juggs & Debra). That is NGTV, and he is still working on it. I won't go into the details, but he's been having a lot of other problems IRL and needed some more time. So hopefully, if everything works out, you will get at least one part from both stories moving forward. I have the first part fully written for Jailbreak (will post once he makes those minor corrections to the original first image) and have the plot outlined for A.C.O.C. which I will write sometime soon after finishing the script for v0.09.
And just to briefly touch on it while I'm here: as promised, production has resumed on Terminal Juggs pages for the Special Forces Tier. I posted page 29 earlier in the week, and their should continue to be weekly pages each Monday for at least the duration of October (but hopefully throughout the rest of the year and beyond). There's also a poll up for Special Forces supporters to decide if Juggs should wear her police hat for the rest of Issue #1's sex scenes.
I still have to finish my minor edits on chapter 29 of DNA Valkyrie before it's ready to post here. Though I am committing to getting that out next week before the end of the month for $5+ supporters. Then my involvement (at least so heavily) with the series will be over and Camille will continue things from there (he has a total of 70 chapters already drafted!)
CLOSED POLLS:
Thanks to votes from the $5+ tiers, Reyna's Outfit has now been decided:
This Tank Top won the first poll with 59% of the vote, & these micro shorts won the second poll with 54% of the vote. It was close, so thanks to everyone who voted :)
There's also another new character that $10 supporters got to help pick a name and body for. This skinnier body option won with 61% of the votes. I've also since put his outfit together.
Meet Richard “Ricky” Rodriguez:
^ Age: 37 | D.O.B. July 31st
Ricky is a minor character, keeps to himself and is one of the more sketchy characters in Ali's group. While he's not particularly friendly and not many trust him yet, he does have his own sub machine gun with plenty of ammo. And he refuses to let anyone else touch it other than himself. Surprisingly, he insisted on tagging along on a little outing with Reyna and Daniel (Male, TBD). They're low on ammo as it is, and needed all the help they can get, so they decided to let him come. What could go wrong?
Truth is, Ricky was just about out of crystal before the infection was unleashed. He was meant to drive up to Hardwood City later that very same day to meet with his dealer. Now almost one week since his last hit, he's starting to get desperate. The only thing on his mind is finding something to take the edge off, before he has another psychotic episode. Of course, nobody else knows about this yet.
Depending on player choice, it is possible for him to have a sexual interactions with both Tiffany and Reyna. And yes, he too has been subject to F.W.I.'s Fertility Enhancement Serum...
Both Reyna and Ricky will make their first appearance (and have scenes) in v0.12 alongside Ali and a male operative from her squad named Daniel. I haven't designed Daniel yet, but he'll be more of the handsome, studly type for those who prefer that sort of male character :) At this rate, I'm probably going to be too busy with v0.09 to design him before that gets released, so will probably have polls for him in November. In the meantime, I still have at least 2 characters that need to be designed for v0.09! One I might keep a secret though... We'll see ;)
CLOSING REMARKS:
Anyway, that brings us to the end of this update blog, and almost to the end of the month too. Hopefully I didn't forget anything important. I'm still super busy, with a lot to get done. But at this point, I still seem to be on track for v0.09 by the end of October, but I'll keep you posted. There will be a couple of things coming in the next few days: Juggs page, DNA Valkyrie Chapter 29, Additional poll for $5 patrons about the sex scene with the Zombie boss, and maybe a sneak peek at one of the other new v0.09 characters if I get a chance to design one of them before Wednesday.
But if you're in the $1 tier, I guess I'll be seeing you next month. Like I said, I'll be trying to do these every week around Saturday if I can. But you know how these things are. I will also try my best to post a bit more on the Discord during the week whenever I do something worth talking about, like I did a couple of times this week.
Thanks so much as always for your support! And I hope everyone is still staying safe out there and taking care of themselves. :)

Wow, it's huge! Thanks a lot for the answer and for such a big game :)

The game has 2 ACTs. The first is set in the town of Ashton Lake. The second is in Hardwood City (Where Tiffany & Terry are from). Right now, we're still towards the beginning of ACT 1.

Can not wait for the V0.09.

Thanks for this Dev Blog, it was very interesting! When you told about Player Home, I got the thought that this thing is usually in the midgame, or even earlier, somewhere in the first half of Act 2. So my question is - where are we now in the whole game's storyline? In the first third? In the middle? How many Days are planned for game in total? Sorry if you answered this question before, may be I missed it.
