🕑 Added 2020-06-25 14:53:29 +0000 UTCSo, as has been mentioned before, there is going to be a Nun and Priest character who have barricaded themselves inside a small town church in the north side of Ashton Lake. I'm unsure which version you'll encounter them at exactly, but what's a more interesting decision, is what religion they should be practicing at this place of worship?
As you can imagine, I don't envision the world of TD as a particularly religious one, so it would probably only be a small minority that subscribe to a particular faith with any real conviction. While I had simply envisioned Tiffany's country as a primarily christian one (it is a fantasy, Americanized, country after all), since this is an alternative Earth with different rules and standards to our own, there's not real reason why we couldn't have some fun with this concept instead.
In addition to discussing the social importance of fertility and procreation in this alternative world, we'd discussed the idea of inventing a new, fertility based religion on the discord some time ago, but I figured I'd open the floor up to you guys here to further discuss and flesh out your ideas on how such a church could operate.
For a bit of context, my basic idea with these characters is that the Nun character would be a virgin when Tiffany meets her (potentially wearing a chastity belt). So the idea is that whatever the religion may be, it still has tenants of celibacy for its order's inner circle. Whoever this Sister is, she happened to be temporarily staying at the town's local church as an envoy from the main sect when the infection broke out. The Priest is of course a local, older man attempting to coerce the young Sister into accepting his seed in an effort to begin repopulating the planet, based on his interpretation that these are the end times and call for drastic measures. Naively, she is simply concerned about whether the priest is interpreting the sacred texts correctly, but of course the Father is hardly a very religious man at all and just wants to impregnate the hot, busty virgin he's been trapped alone with for the last week and a half.
Tiffany would have role to play in deciding the outcome of these two characters of course, but that's a topic for another time...
So, do you think this world should have it's own sex-based religion? And if so, what should that look like? Please discuss down below :)

The religion accepts virgins as their nun's in training but does not want them to experience any sort of sexual pleasure in their training phase. The test to join the religion/church is giving up her virginity to a prominent figure in the religion so she can be a nun of the religion and experience pleasure that being part of the faith can provide. The nuns are known to get pregnant frequently as a way of proving their faith to their goddess. The nun girl is next to fully commit to the religion but is stuck in Ashton lake before her ceremony. The priest has been trying to convince the nun girl that he is the last prominent figure of the faith because it is the end of times and they are important to keep preaching their faith but she has to be a nun to be allowed to perform "religious ceremonies"

Hmm, yeah that could be part of it as well, with them having some kind of “second coming prophecy” that coincidentally matches Tiffany’s description.

How about that this Church believes that there once was a Apocalyps where humanity almost got extinct. But than a Holy Woman appeared who had a similar body like Tiffany has now, being easy to impregnate and giving birth after just a few days and she saved humanity, by giving birth to a lot of children. She could be discribed to have looked like Tiffany with her stage 2 pregnant body, to get the whole fertility part across. The Priest and Nun could start thinking that this zombie outbreak is the new Apocalyps and Tiffany is the new Holy Woman who is going to save the world. The reason that the Nun is wearing the chastity belt could be because she doesn’t comletely belives in all of this and doesn’t want to get pregnant by some random guys, which is her duty as a member of this religion, so she must wear it as a punishment not allowing her any other kind of fun like mastubation.

Hmmmm. On the one hand, I don't know if a prominent figure "getting pregnant without sex" is the sort of message the church wants to send to it's constituents... On the other hand, it could help explain why the nun's have taken a vow of chastity, if it's an attempt to prove their devotion by conceiving as a virgin (somehow). I think the idea is for the people of this world to fuck as much as they can. But a tenant teaching practitioners not to discriminate and focus on breeding at all costs could be something.

Yes, I think that would be a good idea. But as I've mention it's too soon for a sort of counter cult to emerge. This game is still very much a beginning of an apocalypse" rather than an apocalypse that has been in full force for years. So that sort of counter cult would make sense if it emerged in a year or so if the virus goes global.

Religion is a trickt subject, and trying to desacralize a real one (cause in this world, of course it's gonna end up like this) could anger some people :/ Plus making your own religion for this would better fit the universe, and leave you completly free to do what you want ! :D

Still not exactly sure what the reason behind the chastity would be. Though I'm thinking more along the lines of them devoting themselves to the procreation of others, rather than themselves. They're there to assist others, not partake themselves. But some kind of "ideal/strong/compatible mate" could be a reason too. Some very specific requirement maybe. But yes, I assume "swallowing their congregants sins" in the confession booth is a part of their daily duties :P

Hmm maybe still a bit of a parody of Christianity? a Maria, that was so fertile that god fucked her or that she could get pregnant without sex. Maybe it should still have some form of celabarty, like man should search for a good perfect woman, or pray for finding one. Or maybe some form of be fruitful and procreate, involving for females not to discriminate against less nice looking man. Maybe goddess being a kind of slut that has given her self to the man of her creation to reduce the plight of the horny man. So many possibilities. The gloryhole scene could also be a twisted form of Confessional

The Church of the Holy Matriarch. Also a gloryhole confession booth would be pretty fun. Tiff can rack up some favor with the church by volunteering her services with them.

Yes, it could certainly all be connected in some way. As I mentioned in the comment reply above, it can also tie into why impregnation is such a major focus when it comes to sex for these people. All part of a cultural shift. A knee-jerk reaction to find a solution to their extreme population decline over this last century could include a major switch-up in religions.

Yeah this. I like the idea of a sexy religion suited for the TD world, but it shouldn't be too silly. It should make sense like real-life fertility cults and not be a joke like EpicLust's Apocalypse church or whatever. The nun could still be preserving her chastity as they'd be encouraged to wait for their ideal mate or something.

Second one should be good but it would be kinda neat that there might also be traces of an opposite religion in the game. Like one group worshiping god while another worships satan/ but in TD it would be one trying to repopulate the world because they assume that these are the end times like you said but still having traces of a group that thinks or believes that the infection is a punishment of god and they need to embrace the zombies to repent. You can probably see where i'm going with this. It would be kind of nice to see different people interpret the apocalypse in different ways.

Yeah, something along these lines would check out. Based on the idea that was discussed previously that a change in culture this last century was due to a previous low birth rate leading to a world wide population shrinking crisis that is currently trying to be recovered from. The idea that a new global religion would emerge from this cult wouldn't be too far fetched. At least in this nonsensical world :P

Yes, though ofc it has not been long enough for a brand new apocalyptic cult to rise since this is only the infection's outbreak. And yep, a hair color like that would probably fit very well :)

I would love to see more world building related to the sexy way the women of this world dress. maybe that could be tied in to the religion, like they worship a goddess of beauty and fertility. Or maybe they worship a Futa diety with all exaggerated proportions and preaches that women should show of there assets. The nuns of this religion could wear chastity belts because they are supposed to be saving themselves for this diety, or it could be that because this society is so promiscuous Nuns practice celibacy as a way to show their temperance and dedication to worship.

If there was some holy figure, I think it'd be more appropriate to have a female form due to the fertility connection, but the other ideas are interesting and could work.

Also if you’re taking recommendations for how the nun should look right now, i suggest the nuns hair is either silver or white hair

Column A/Column B. The most prominent religion was a fertility cult that spread outward and skyrocketed in popularity. Their messiah was a stacked lady that birthed quickly or something. The clergy offer sexual services, cum tributes, etc. Pregnancy is celebrated.

Like the idea, just as i like that you make it optional if we desire not to go ahead with the priest ideas, in very typically apocalypse style movies, their is sometimes some sort of a cult anyways.

Should be a church, with a black jesus-like statue that has a big shlong. There are holes on the benches to encourage fingering whoever's infront of you during service. Instead of Holy water, it will cum directly from old priest.
