v0.04 Weekly Update #2

I probably should have called this v0.03.5 or something, maybe v0.03(bonus version), but that's too long winded and stupid sounding. My main goal with this one is simply having it done on time by the end of the 31st. Primarily because I want a whole, proper month to focus on v0.05 and not be wasting extra days trying to squeeze more out of this bonus version for December.
Also, I suppose I should say that since v0.04 doesn't have much content, this update's images could spoil things for some people who want a fresh experience when seeing the scenes in around 2 days time.
I decided to focus more on the short, sex scene with George that occurs if you're continuing the "Robert's Legacy" quest. It's not an impregnation scene, that will come in a later version (and be more "epic").
I'll jump right in though, here's some renders from that scene:

Seriously though, I can't tell you how good it is to finally work on a scene that isn't set against a red, brick background :P I swear it wasn't planned on purpose! I'll aim to have lots of future scenes set in more visually interesting environments from now on. :)
I'm still working on the images for it, I hope to finish it tomorrow.
Anyway, because I wanted to put more effort into this scene, the additional Zombie Hrse scene will also be pushed back to v0.05. I know, it was supposed to be a replacement for the farm content that was already pushed back, but I'm dumb and keep giving myself more time and then taking it away by promising extra stuff in exchange. I've learnt that I'm not made of magic now, thanks to v0.03's delays. I don't want to spend an extra 2 days to get the horse scene in now, since I'm trying my best to get this done in time for 2019. I know many of you don't care about delays. But for me, it's important to improve my perception of how long things take so that I can make better judgement calls going forth. If I just delay everything all the time... well, I have to stick to my release dates sometimes. Besides, that scene will go better with the rest of the farm content in v0.05.
OK, I also been doing some light work on behind the scenes stuff. Fixed a small bug when fighting multiple enemies, where if the first enemy stripped Tiffany naked, the others would still attempt to strip her (instead of overpowering her).
I've also added a "little save-game-auto-updater" that should run when using saves made with a previous version. When you load the game it should make all the necessary changes under the hood, like placing the new toggle items into your inventory, or setting up any new variables or quest stages that I added, etc.
^This is a new alley, behind Vanessa's old hideout. I opened the path there for day 2 on-wards so you'll be able to go this way. This is how you will get to George's gun shop.
Like I said during my previous "all patrons" post explaining the content update, I finished working on all the image variations for the shotgun. Right now it just does a shit load of damage to a single enemy. I added some damage to multiple enemies. But it was a bit too broken right now since there's only the 1 3-way fight you can use it in with more than one enemy. I will balance it in later updates when there are more groups of multiples enemies to fight against.
I also added a small feature, where Tiffany's who are Slut's for Zombies can choose which sex scene they want to view:
^This is just a start. I'll expand this more in future versions, and add an option to skip scenes as well so you don't have to watch them all the time. I'll also soon be making it possible to lose to the zombies without submitting... ;)
And of course, (as indicated by the image) I've finished the images for the normal zombie tit-fuck scene and added it into the game:

There's still a bit of work left to do on it (some edits to the images and dialogue), but it's implemented and functional.
Since there's not a lot in this mini-version, it won't take me long to test/finish the remaining scenes. All of the gameplay additions have been completed and testes already, so it's really just the scene with George I need to finish renders for and implement into the game. I'll have a little progress update thing again with a percentage. But I really expect this one to be done by the end of the 31st. Maybe a couple of hours into the 1st... I'm in a much better place than I was with v0.03, but there's only a tiny bit of content here so, idk...
Maybe some players would prefer to wait for v0.05 at the end of January, rather than download everything again with v0.04 just for 2 short scenes, 3 small areas, a new weapon, a store, some fixes/improvements and a small progression in a side-quest. I wish it was possible to release a patch with just the new content, but unfortunately that's not the way RPG Maker MV works with it's exports... At least the game isn't very large in size yet.

Thanks, and yeah I think a surrender option will be great for the reasons you've mentioned. It won't be done in time for v0.04, since I'm trying to get that out asap. It will probably be in v0.05.

Sure, the zombie horse scene dialogue was very well done. I assumed non-slut scenes with standard enemies would play out a similar way. I believe you’ve stated before that you want there to be a fleshed out game around the sex scenes, so I think a “surrender” option would be a good edition to the game because it creates a way for those of us who play a non-slut Tiffany to experience the sex scenes, but also a way to conserve ammo/items if we know we are heading into a particularly dangerous area of the town, approaching a boss fight, or going into a situation where Tiffany could be killed in a later build. I do like the idea of leaving it up to the player on whether she will become a slut after a certain number of times or not but of course the decision is ultimately yours. Do you know if the new dialogue will be done in time for v0.04?

Yes, I think it will work basically the same way as "submit" currently does, but will be called something like "surrender" or "admit defeat" or something along those lines. I was kind of testing the basics of it out with the Zhrse scene in v0.03 where you could get a non-slut version of the scene if Tiffany wasn't a beast slut. Basically the same sex scene but with different dialogue and some slight variations in the cg sometimes where a face might be too slutty or something. I'm still tossing up whether it will be like a 20% chance to become a slut or maybe it requires a certain number of losses before she's automatically converted into a slut. Maybe I'll set it up so players can choose how it works. You'll always have the option of submitting still if you want to control when she becomes a slut yourself.

That’s great. I play a non-slut Tiffany, and have been anticipating this for awhile. I meant to post a reply on the conversation you made back in November, but obviously never got around to it. Have you decided what the actual percentage of Tiffany becoming a slut for zombies will be after an encounter? Also, do you plan on implementing the non-slut submission option you talked about back in November?

Yep, basically right now, if you run out of endurance, your forced to submit and Tiffany becomes a slut for zombies. What I'll do is change that so she won't automatically become a slut when running out of endurance and she'll have some different dialogue with a small chance of becoming a slut for zombies at the end. Basically for people who want to see a little more resistance with Tiffany instead of her just becoming a slut immediately upon running out of endurance for the first time.

Can you explain a little bit more about what you mean when you say “make it possible to lose to the enemies without submitting”?

Spent a heap of time trying to figure this out today. Tried a bunch of things, but of course in the end it was something super simple that only took 2 lines of code with the help from a simple plugin. Anyway, the enemy battle sprites will now be hidden during the combat sex scenes. :)

Yes, I know what you mean. I think there might be a way to simply hide the enemies. I will look into it when I wake up.

Is it possible during sex scenes to make different backround for 0.05, cause during sex scene you can see enemy at backround, its kinda distracting... ;D

By the way. If people notice horrendous spelling and grammar mistakes in-game, let me know and I can fix them up. I know there's probably heaps from v0.03 since I was rushed at the end and wrote a bunch of dialogue inside the editor which of course doesn't have a 'spell-check' feature. Probably best to report typos to the 'bugs' channel in the discord. I'll do a proper comb through before v0.05.

Whoops, should be 'as well', not 'aswell' in the tit-fuck dialogue. Fixed in-game. :)
