This is something I've been meaning to discuss and consider with you guys. Even though 7 days is really short for a pregnancy term, and great for IRL pregnancy fetishes. In a game like this where it takes months of development and versions to get through each in-game day. Day 8 (the first possible day of birth, since pregnancy lasts for 7 days) is like, months and months of real time away. At this point in time I expect v0.06 to conclude Day 2... so that'd at the earliest, be some time in late February and that's only a single day of in-game pregnancy.
And in that time you'll keep on meeting new men and eventually even zombies and creatures that will be able to get Tiffany (and the other girls) pregnant. Let's say you get pregnant with Robert's child right at the start, you're going to have to pass through 7 more days of content, avoiding impregnation by other characters. You won't miss out on any scenes, but the fun of getting Tiffany knocked up is almost tarnished by how long you'll have to wait to get impregnated again. Clearly the most exciting part of impregnation content is the impregnation itself. I imagine people want to experience that as often as possible.
Now, in the future (past day 8) all of the necessary pregnancy stages art assets will have been completed over time, meaning that I will be able to add mechanics to allow you to sleep and skip days etc. But that's still a long time away. The reason I can't add that feature now, is because I'd need to make all of the different variations for different stages of pregnancy. Not just dialogue and combat cg's but all of the repeatable sex scenes need to have variations for bigger breasts, bellies, etc (we'll decide exactly what body changes in a different poll later). Now I could do it, but it would take a whole month or even longer to get all of that art done, instead of working on new content. It seems better to me, to work on it slowly, over time, each time with reach a new day, instead of needing hundreds of variations right away so sleeping at any time can work.
Also, in the game right now, it doesn't make logical sense for Tiffany to just be able to go to sleep for 7 days and then continue the story. Are Terry and the other's just going to sit around doing nothing? I prefer a story that has days to it, where different things happen on the days. It's not really a sandbox/simulation game where you just go out to work and come home, go on dates at your own leisure, etc. There might be something like that in the greater story outside of Ashton Lake, but right now, they're trapped in the walls with enemies everywhere, so timing is an important part of the story/game scenes.
Anyway, long story short. Do you think it is better if pregnancy length is made shorter? I am starting to think 3 day pregnancy cycles might be more ideal? It also means less overall stages of art to create. For example:
1st Day(after impregnation)-> Lactation starts. | 2nd Day -> Small baby bump, bigger breasts etc, | 3rd Day (birthday) -> Large baby bump, much bigger breasts, darker areola, etc.
Makes it nice and simple. instead of 7 days worth of art progression. It'd certainly be nice, and I'm fine doing it, (it'd probably be a physical change every second day or something) but it's more annoying to keep track of, and design gameplay around when any player can be at any stage with any girl...
As for plot issues concerning retconning the 7 days pregnancy thing, I'm fine retconning it, but there are also some fun ways we can make the change a part of the plot itself. But that's a discussion for another time
This is more of a discussion, to get an idea of what most people want. But a poll is the easiest way of collecting feedback so that's why there is a poll. The poll won't necessarily be the only deciding factor here, if people bring up good points in the comments. Let me know your thoughts on the matter. Impregnation is a big fetish in the game, so it feels kind of weird to have to wait so long to see the payoff when the majority of players will get their Tiffany's pregnant asap, and probably want to see her breed a lot.

Thanks! And yeah, that’s one possible way to deal with it. I was thinking of some in-game event, but that might be better, especially if i’m going to eventually let players choose the length.

We can always just say that Tiffany is even more fertile than everyone originally thought, speeding the process up to three days and having it be a surprise to Tiffany when she's ready to pop after only three days. And by the way, great job on the last update. This game is looking great and only getting better.

Actually, It's all to do with the enhanced sperm of the breeders, they corrupt the currently ovulated ovum, but they also corrupt all of the unfertilized ova stored in the ovaries as well. Meaning taking an internal load of breeder cum directly into the womb will evolve all of their ova to be on 7 day cycles regardless of who's sperm succeeds in fertilizing them. Immunity is something different...

I will implement the breast size pills in an upcoming version (0.04-0.06) they will work the same as 'Lactivate' but without the milk. So basically the 3 ways to increase breast size: 1. Pregnancy, 2. Lactiavte, 3. this other drug. Each will take the same amount of time to grow bigger, it's just alternative option for people who want bigger proportions but dont want pregnancy or lactation content.

This is a good point, but what I will probably do is change it to 3 days pregnancy, but when we get to day 8, I will enable a toggle to set it to 7 days. If you're plaing the final game all at once, then 7 is not so bad, but when you are playing every single version to see all the new scenes, i think it's better not to wait so long. I think this is the best plan.

Remember, the 7-day interval cited by Robert is for women not exposed to the zombie virus (or whatever). While Tiffany is immune to the usual zombification, exposure could still have all manner of side-effects on pregnancy (like, say,. a litter of goblins for next Xmas?)

If I could give a second vote it would be 5-days. If you want multiple in one playthrough (depending on how long this game ends up being) you might want some sort of middleground. 3 sounds best to me, but 5 is a happy medium. Going with 7 makes it more of a background thing for a majority of the game, and during that time you have to be concerned about Ovum-health every "enemy" you interact with.

Hmm... I think you should do the thing you set out to do. I don't know how many in-game days you plan to establish so hurrying the pregnancy should be dependent on that. But more importantly: You were talking about pills which can make make Tiffanies breasts bigger, right? When do you think you can implement those? Because I guess they can only take effect for sexscenes AFTER they have been introduced? or is it an easy thing to change scenes from previous updates accordingly? What I am trying to say is this: I think it fair to assume that everyone here has a fetish for gigantic tits so I think that those pills would be very welcome, the sooner the better =)
