I share with you the results of last week's voting.
Today I wanted to tell you a couple of relevant things about the project and at the end, some bad news (sort of).
First of all, as I told you last week, this time I will try to make two animations for Ino's new event, actually I have already finished the base sketch of one of the two animations.
I also want to make an animation for Sakura since I feel that this new quest deserves it, but I don't want to take so much time to finish the new release, so if I see myself short of time I will leave it for another occasion, I don't want to overload myself as I always do and finish without time, we will see what happens.
That said, I don't want to set a date yet so I don't feel the pressure of having to do things fast but I don't want to take so long either, so first I'll finish Ino's animations which are the ones that take me more work and time and based on that I'll decide.
With this I finish what I wanted to tell you about the new update, now I want to tell you things about the optimization and the new combat system.
The last weeks I have made big changes in the day/night system (ALL the game is linked to this, so I had to change everything from 0) and the parallax system (maps) which were very bad optimized, I am still testing it, but for now it hasn't given me any crash in 20 min of run. I still need to do a longer run of at least 40 min, but for now, I think it has improved.
If all goes well, I will implement these changes in this new release.
Regarding the new combat system.
The system as such is already done, I still need to master some plugins to be able to deepen certain animations linked to this, create the unique character skill kits (Anko, Orochimaru, Naruto, 1 ally, random enemies), balance the fights, and finally finish the sprites of every character except Naruto to be able to share the demo.
Also, each character will have an ultimate ability which will be fully animated.
I shared with you the gif of Naruto's ultimate, rasengan. I didn't know if I should share it here since I consider that being a porn game this kind of things are a little irrelevant, but I decided to share it anyway to keep you updated about the rework of the combat system. As you can see, there is still some work to do.
This post is being too long, so I will be brief with the bad news, my pc started to fail, I was able to fix it and for now it works fine, but this little episode made me clear that I need to send it to a technician or directly change it, I already have the date decided and it will be after the update, so in theory its already "under control". I only comment this because if by chance I am absent before time, you already know what happened, although it should NOT happen, since at the moment it is stable.
With nothing more to add, have a good week!
