Or
The abandoned skateboard left in the park in front of the library of the paranormal and the occult.
Ooohhh Spooky.
Well, obviously not really.
Nicole join Ian for his lunch break and on the way back through the park they found a skateboard that was probably left there by some kid so Ian thought it was a great opportunity to show off with some good ol' Tricks™
But yeah, he’s a little bit rusty.
Worry not Though! He'll be able to pull it off just before his lunch break is over or the kid comes back for their skateboard.
Whichever happens first.
Also, I think it's working.
So yeah, I was working on a picture with these two, Ian And Nicole, the other day and here's this one. Just some slice of life stuff of the Whisperers just doing something silly for once with nothing supernatural happening unless… Unless there's something in the background that shouldn't be there, I mean, there has been something in the background hidden and watching The band from a distance in almost all of their Halloween pictures. And the kids at least once so who knows…
But nah… I just wanted to draw these two and I thought Ian knowing how to skate even if he doesn't do it anymore would be a fun trait for him. Implies a good contrast with Nicole who was homeschooled for a good chunk of her student life.
This was just going to be a Black and White Sketch but I wanted to experiment a bit with this one. It's almost completely done on Procreate so there will be a process video later as soon as I discover how to post it. See, recently I discovered that the Patreon miniature basically spoils the whole thing anyway so I may just post a link to YouTube or something either in a new post or in an update here.

There's another one that's there already? Well, there's only one character left without a love interest and though she's neither smol nor reserved she still happens to have pointy ears, so maybe the third adorkable sweetheart will be even more interesting than the other two... ;)

Now that you mention it, Yeah there seems to be a trend, lol. Not with a dog but there's a secret third one that I may talk about some day but it's there already

From the look on her face, Nicole probably took one look at Ian's attempt at skating and thought "yep, he's a keeper!" Along with Diego, there seems to be a trend of your male dog characters being adorkable sweethearts that their smol reserved pointy-eared female love interests fall hard for... ;)
