It's Friday the 13th, but it hasn't come into effect yet. :p
Because it's been another week of good progress. Finished up the last 'normal' scene, and I have one big cinematic-type scene to do. In addition to that, I also made some renders for the phone and plan to add them to the wallpaper app as well. 147 renders were done in total.
I've also ported the existing episodes and new script over to the newly released Ren'Py 8.3.2. There are some nice features in the latest version which I hope to utilize.
I saw a troll somewhere talking about how I'd slowed down development, which made me curious. So I compared these numbers with LoF and saw that in terms of still renders, this release is as big as LoF chapters 1-4 and has as many animations as all of LoF had in total. So I don't think I've slowed down.
However, I can say that I've scripted U4iA so that episodes are not meant to grow to insane sizes as we go along. You can do an excellent job progressing a story in 3000-4000 renders, so that's my target.
Next week, I'll drop Daz completely and focus on Renpy fully. Daz is good fun to work with, but it's nice with a little break occasionally.

Hello my first day here. I am almost 60 got started on these adult games a bit over a year ago with BaDik and then intertwined. After those two I looked for a completed game and played LOF. It tore my heart out brought me to tears. Well today I decided to take a look at U4ia and all I can say is wow. Hope you keep up the great work. One thing I hope you allow is the MC to have Jackie as a LI, and tied to that show us clearer who are MG and who are SG.

Not sure I understood what you meant, but after visuals and scripting is complete, it goes off to my testers who go through everything and point their fingers at me for all my typos and bugs they find.

Oh, they don't get to me. They aren't here for the updates and comment by calendar dates alone. :) And thanks. I feel a weekly update is the least I can do in return for the support along the way. Even if it's "I didn't do anything last week". :p

I render after my main script, and go into Renpy to catch up after about 1k renders. Then I render what's left and drop back into Renpy again when the main Daz portion is getting close to completed - which is where I'm at right now. :)
