Had bought the fullgame recently (though I had played the game via itch.io long before the dev had to pull the full game from there) and it had worked flawlessly despite the lag issues mentioned by Micheal, now it won't open at all and I was just starting Chapter 8, I'm hoping a fresh download may sort the issue out.

Thank you for this game. I both love and hate you for it. Cece hit far to close to home and I had to stop playing for a few days after the jump. Amazing story telling. Not sure if I'll be able to bring myself to play the other paths on it, but I'm sure that I will one day. Again, thank you.

Unfortunately, this version does not contain any music that was requested removed from the game, nor can I condone any fan-made project/mod that tries to re-insert that music into the game due to the artist's wishes.

Okay, I don't know if this was an update to the renpy player or if Drifty fixed something, but the initial release of LoF 1.0, all the animations were seriously lagging on my computer. However, playing in Drifty's Walkthrough edition the animations are smooth again (For example, the lighted butt parade couldn't even make it to red and blue while lagging, and all the rest were similarly borked) Anyway, just something else I'm happy about. UPDATE: *sigh* Either my computer was just running better for a while, or the farther into the game you get, the more lag created, but since the Boat Kiss™, the animation went back to bad lagging :(

for those not so tech savvy, please can you give precise instructions for how to get the saved versions to work in the new final version please? Thanks (where the saved file folder is, what's it called and what you have to do).

Wow drifty. I just completed read the story about Cece and the mc. I know i took my sweet time, but some things you just need to be in mood to, so you dont end up just skipping things. well at least i do! What a ride, i loved every single moment of your story! Just overwrite ch.7 with ch.8 and it should work fine, that's what I did.

I had to overwrite ch.7 game with ch.8 and then all my saves showed up and it's worked just fine.

MEGA is trash and wont let me download it and GDrive is overloaded. There needs to be a better way :(

I had no issues with the mega link unless you are talking for Mac.

I was able to go through the end of the chapter 8 with a fresh new game. No loading of older saves at all. It took alot of clicking to get to it. Even got a save before you make the choice on the girl. It sucks but what can you do?

I managed to get 1 of my 5 route saves to work. No idea this one save will work just fine but the others won't?

Same thing is happening with me. I had like 5 different routes set up to see the endings but I can't get the saves to work at all.

I have the same problem with the old saves. I copied them to the new directory but, if I try to load any of them, I receive an error. Ignoring the error will simply cause the game to start from the beginning. Seems some global variable or sub call was changed and this invalidated all existing saves. I had one ready for every possible romance path. I just wanted to see all the endings; I don't have time to go back and replay everything from the beginning... :(((

All my different path saves are still on my chapter 7 version. None are shown in chapter 8 . Even if I manually move one over it just shows exception occurred. If I click ignore it goes straight to very beginning. Not sure what to do.

I am having the same issues as pinkgoblin. I pressed ignore and it started me from the get go. So I thought maybe the older save format wasnt meshing well with the current game. Well I started from the beginning and when the first task, which was contacting Kira happened and it is REQUIRED, I saw the text from the previous saves and wouldnt let me continue forward in the story.

For saves, try and load an earlier save. And for fast forward, go to preferences and click the "skip unseen" option.

Given all the work you have done in making all the endings, and after warning some we may never see because it takes specific choices to get there... pretty please a guide how to reach the different endings, Drifty? Pretty please with cherry?

all my saves crash the game in and out of steam and i cant fast forward i have the just keep clicking... this is killing me :(

every load i try on steam opens with error... rollback crashes the game :(

Congratulations Drifty on the completion of an outstanding story. I can't wait to play although I am overly sad because this is the final Chapter. Even playing over again it's never the same thrill, excitement and heartache as the first play through. Good luck on the new venture and I can't wait for the first Chapter.
