I sat down a few weeks ago, thought about the progress, and decided things are going too slowly. So I've only been rendering the end scenes since then. I can't remember the last time I could do a scene that doesn't have several alternative versions, and it's very refreshing.
That also means I'm holding off on the concert scene animations because right now I don't know which song I can use. Luckily, I got the rights to the backup song, but I'm still hoping I can get the license for the song I had originally intended. And those animations I can easily do at a much later point, even when the release is in testing.
There's been progress on the music licensing too. I've signed and paid for 32 songs, while another 37 are being discussed. Monday I'll contact the next batch of composers, and basically, that's how the weeks go on the music front. You get some, you lose some, and you keep sending emails.
Render count is increasing fast too. I surpassed 2,100 renders this week, meaning more than 200 renders a week in the last two weeks.
Otherwise, there's not much more to report. But I'm also tinkering with the release date video right now. It will be out later today.

So the confidence is high enough that you can announce a release date. Well. That is a testament to a well-organized life and a fastidious work ethic. Nevertheless, I won't bitch if the song goblins or something other unforeseen tragic comedy befalls you. Cheers.

Cheers Drifty! Progress is still progress. I know personally I have found several music artists because of soundtracks for VNs, so as was mentioned, how can an artists not want to attach their art to a VN? Especially one as amazing and well done as LoF? Also, being a one person army making one of these VNs, like RJ Rhodes who I also follow, is a major feat in and of itself. To be able to put out such a wonderful story and art, while balancing life, I wish I had your talent and ability, tbh! Thank you Drifty!

Just as said, I was hoping to not to get the release date finallyπ I'm in the state to start crying rn, that it's the time, when we finally in the state to prepare our mind to say the GoodBye! I realllyyyy don't want toπππ Thank You Drifty for all your hard works, for all your dedication to fullfill our heart with such an amazing gift! LoF is going to be the beesssttt AVN, created till the date! And, once the final chap is released, those impatience public must realise, what took it so many days so to finally come out! I'll never understand why people don't want their music on in a VN. Music is art and so is a VN, they go together perfect and it allows that many more people to hear your music.
