So I take it if you make Lexi your Main Squeeze, after Chapter 5 you are relegated to Counselor and are busy fixing all of your friends relationships through to the end. No more sex for you as your GF is on tour...am I correct?

Just picked the game up a few days ago on Steam myself. I agree the music selection is fantastic! Already finding myself obsessed with quite a few of the songs. I am slowly collecting as many of the songs (and the albums they are on) just to hear what else the artists have done.

I got to chapter 7, to keep it brief, its a rollercoaster, if anyone knows how to get 15/15 let me know please! On her path, I only got up to 9/15 , I don't know what to choose, but on another path, Lexi's, i got 11/15 , I'm so confused right now.

I'm recently picked up the game again, i started off from the end of chapter 5, and I only got a bit into chapter 6 but it's got me happy already, the quirky and funny things the mc and characters do. It's all amazing. Excellent music choice. I like the game, it's well thought out and I appreciateyour work and dedication. It's awesome 👌 Looking forward to chapter 7 and 8 🤝🏼.

The download links marked 'Chapter 1-7' is the full game download. The ones marked 'Chapter 7 only' is the patch with the latest chapter only. I do recommend the full download.

I just found this game last night on Itch, wound up really enjoying the first couple chapters and immediately came over here to pledge. I just finished through Chapter 7, I was honestly not expecting such an amazing story. Keep it up man, you made me weep like a child, and I'm not at all mad about it. Thank you for creating and sharing this with us all!

The bonus scene should be available in the main menu by clicking "bonus scenes". If it's not unlocking, it will at the start of chapter 7, as I put a bugfix for it in there.

Hi Drifty, I downloaded chapter 7 here and started a fresh playthrough, but can't get the Nite Dawg bonus scene to play, even though the chapter summary screen says I have 4/4 and I completed it for Cece. I have seen it before on previous versions - any ideas? No mods or anything else in my version and it was a fresh start with no previous saves being used. There's no link in the text to click or the scene appearing when I click continue. Thanks!

The only thing I did not like was “and that you come back for the conclusion of this story”. Only one chapter left? I am not ready to leave this story behind!! How can you do this to me? How… what… why…. How again…. Yada yada yada yada …. yada lorem ipsum yada yada … yada yada yada yada… yada yada yada….. Do not take the above part seriously, it is just how I show my appreciation of this master piece you created <3 how you manage to convey the emotions and your own struggles into the story, amazed! But I really hope that chapter 8 is not the last chapter <3 And I agree with C and you should then at least write another story, you have such talent! Thank you Drifty!

The problem arose when installing the 7.0 upgrade over 6.1. I downloaded the full version 7.0 and everything seems to work without issues.

With older versions, I had the problem on the 32-bit version only, never on the 64-bit version. This time the 64 bit version is also detected by Norton which puts both the .exe files in quarantine (32 and 64 bits). I recovered the 64 bits file from quarantine, I put it back in its place but the game refuses to launch. Nothing is happening. I checked and these are the only 2 files detected as bad by Norton. As I had copied the version 6 folder, I tried to run the old program (6.1) and it still works fine. I will continue this discussion on discord.

Unfortunately Renpy (the framework in which LoF is made) has had this problem for a long time, where Norton (and others) mistakes the exe-files for being malicious. This is the same for every Renpy game with a custom Icon. The creator of Renpy has been trying to remove this for a long time without being successful. When I ran LeapofFaith.exe and BeeingADIK.exe through the same test, they both came out with the same results.

So chapter 7 was a rollercoaster ride, one that I would gladly line up for again and again. I really liked your special guest appearance from another brilliant visual novel. No clue how you are going to be able to wrap up the story in your next chapter or is chapter 8 no longer the projected story finale? I can see the potential of releasing chapters 1-8 as season 1 and stretching another 8-10 episodes for a second season.

Unzip the patch, copy everything inside the leap of file folder (with the exe and /game/ folder - everything), and paste it into the leap of faith folder you've been playing up to now (6 first chapters). You should get a warning if you want to overwrite, that means you've been doing it correctly. Answer yes. When the overwriting is done, run the same file as you used to when playing the previous version of LoF.
