Hello friends! Welcome to dev diary #85! That's a lot of dev diaries, and yet, the number can only go up.
This will be a bit of a short one, not because I don't have a lot to report but rather because I'm a little bit in crunch mode with the project I'm trying to get done ahead of public release!
First of all, one new feature (I think it's already in the latest early access version) is the passage history length slider!
Passage history is, basically, the number of times you can hit the back button within the game to go back through previous passages, perhaps making different choices. The default has been 5 passages for a long time. If you don't use this feature, want a more challenging playthrough, or want to instantly shrink your save file size, you can now turn this down to 1.
Conversely, if you have indexedDB enabled, you can turn it up to a new maximum of 40. Do note that this directly bloats save file size and may also cause performance to suffer slightly, so it's best done on more powerful devices. In any case, the choice will now be yours!
As always, and because I haven't said it in a while, I strongly recommend regularly exporting your favorite saves to keep them safe from the vagaries of browser storage.
But what's really been occupying my time stems from a common request: Extending the storylines for some of our more defined characters. In particular, I've had a number of requests lately to extend the storyline of the Classroom Harasser toward what it's been hinting at: filming porn starring the PC.
"Ah, but," I said to myself, "doesn't this then suggest that such an event is only an introduction to some sort of X-rated video minicareer?" and now you begin to understand why I've been in a crunch.
I have much of the background coding for this new minicareer done, and I've just gotten to the point of beginning to work on the UI. Be warned, this is very much a prototype, and in the release version there will be some stats and stuff as you edit your video.
These X-rated videos derive directly from encounters. So, essentially, whatever you do during an encounter that you're recording, the sex acts that occur and other characteristics, will factor into your video. As you can see, some of the mechanics will be quite similar to ClickbaitTV, but others will be rather different.
So, completing this is today's project! At least, I hope I can get it all working today. If not, I'll be putting in some weekend hours!

I really love this idea! I'm not sure if I mentioned it before, but I once brought up the idea of a PC who's a VTuber accidentally revealing their real face/body due to a mistake or a glitch in the VTuber program. I also suggested it would be cool to see viewer reactions if there's a big difference between the VTuber's virtual avatar and the PC's actual looks or body shape. If the PC's virtual avatar was a cute, slender elf, but her real appearance turned out to be a very sexy hourglass figure, the chat would probably go wild! It would be cool if the PC got flustered and ended the stream, and then in the next streaming, when they turn PC's virtual avatar back on, the viewers who liked their real look would keep pestering them to quit being a VTuber and show her real self instead. Another idea I proposed was if a PC is active as both a VTuber and a college camgirl, it would be interesting if some viewers noticed similarities in her voices between the VTuber and the college camgirl, leading them to figure out the PC's real identity and expose it.

Click the character tab on the left sidebar, then the character inclinations header, and there will be a a "see complete list" option at the bottom which shows all the inclinations.

Something that might work (at the start) to spur the MC into porn would be if they are camming with a mask and there is some 'event' - my thought would be the roommate (that hates the MC from the start) knows and surprises them while streaming and yanks the mask off so all the audience *sees* their face. Depending on the fallout, that might lower their resistance to the idea of porn (for those not totally dominated by the 'harasser') - once their face is already out there, it is not like there is much point of being shy.
