This week I've been on the Greek house update that will mark version 0.7. I've gotten through the pledge tasks I'd planned to do for now, though as I said last week, once Greek party activities are done I'll be able to go back and knock out some more. Pledge tasks serve in part as a vehicle to get your character to do things they may otherwise be reluctant to do, and naughty party activities are certainly on that list.
Speaking of Greek house parties, that's been the focus for this week! The essence of parties in this game, as you likely well know, is hanging out in a location where you can mingle with lots of other NPCs and easily get your Relaxation and Attention needs up. Greek house parties will be similar to the format of more recent party events, namely Harvest Eve and Renewal Festival, where amidst this background of socialization, you also have a special activity or two happening. The difference with Greek houses is that these activities will tend to change week by week and also depend on which house is hosting the party.
This week I started and then finished the baseline party events, where you can see to your needs, chat, and have things happen. Technically this makes it a complete experience, but there's currently not very much to distinguish it from the quad party, except for the beer not being as cheap, more upperclassman involvement, and hookups being more visible.
It's the activities more than anything else that will end up setting them apart, and where things will really get wild.
The Greek house parties aren't meant to completely invalidate the quad parties, however, though some players may well choose to ignore the quad party once Greek parties are available. For one thing, I think I'll have them on different nights so you can do both if you're so inclined. Also, when starting out with a new character, you'll still start off with the quad party — that mysterious Party Popularity stat has always been intended to lead to an invite to the Greek house parties, before which they're off limits to you.
I'll be finishing out this week by getting into the Greek party activities, which is more or less where I thought I'd be. I mentioned these last week and the question on everybody's mind seems to be... what the hell is pussy roulette? Well... I won't get into it here, but just imagine a situation where you're not sure exactly when something will go off... or who it will go off for... depending on your perspective. In any case, I'll make sure the activities selected are relevant to your character and their tastes, and possibly allow you to just watch, so you're not forced into anything that doesn't interest you.
I'm also planning on beer pong, blowjob contests, integrating noonycurt's strip poker, plus some other games. This will, as ever, involve a lot of writing, but also some bespoke coding, so implementing them all should be a unique challenge. Once those get done, we'll pretty much be in the home stretch and I can start evaluating exactly when this update can come out — but before that point, I don't really want to make any promises.
Okay, I think that's about all I have to talk about! I have just been plugging away at event after event, doing lots of writing, and I'm looking forward to moving onto the party games/activities! I'll be getting some of that done as soon as I post this, though next week, it'll be time to think of the May monthly update. I'll let you know how it's gone in next Friday's dev diary.

Every campus I've ever been on (undergrad, grad school, and teaching) has Greek parties on Thursdays. That might mess things up with the eSports matches, though.

Yes, sorry, the activity names are sort of just the shorthand I've been using in my notes, but when I actually make them they'll account for different anatomies and orientations as much as they can. I might make a party popularity meter, similar to the performance meter for the River Rat and such. I'll add it to my notes.

In regards to Mid-encounter events from the update, have you thought of creating reverse scenarios where you catch others during sex, maybe by unlocking this by investigating sounds you hear in locations like the library, the showers, and between buildings. In addition you can also have Mid-encounter events in other places like Quickieburger restaurant, the River Rat, and the Quad party. Theses 3 events can only be investigated if you have had sex in those locations before, meaning you have to be aware of how the proposition goes beforehand, and a certain level of Voyeurism of wanting to seek and see the sex happen. For the first three it goes like a normal Mid-encounter events, you react to the sex scene or you join in. For the latter three where you actively seek it out, it goes a bit different, you can either watch and masturbate, or take a risk if you have a high Voyeurism and interrupt the sex scene and ask to join in, where either they agree and you do or they don't and angrily tell you to leave, which results in embarrassment for you.
