Hello friends, and happy Friday! Hope you're doing well. Let's get right into it.
Last week, I introduced you to the concept of pledge tasks, where you will be able to pick and choose tasks and gain points on your way to joining your chosen Greek house. These have been a large focus for the past week, because their completion conditions all have to be correctly detected (which is sometimes complicated), and a lot of them involve new unique events.
Pledge tasks will take a fair amount of writing, but I think that's fine — striving to join your house of choice is often a big deal in the college genre, so it should have a good chunk of content and occupy your character for a time.
The other big chunk of event writing for this update will come in the form of activities at Greek house parties. I think I'd like this to be a bit of a random selection week to week, with different houses hosting different activities, including ones unique to their house. If you look back at last week, you'll see a couple of these activities referenced in the first draft of pledge tasks. More will be coming!
It's also getting to be time to think of the April update. On that front, I've first of all been making some often-requested expansions to the shop interface, like text search and style filters.
It'll also search the description of clothing attributes, so if you filter for "activewear" it'll list things you can work out in. Someday I wouldn't mind making those a little easier to take in at a glance, too. But for now, this should make it a bit easier to manage the store menus as they continue to expand as well as making sure you get the style you want.
Next, you might have seen the poll I put out. We'll acknowledge first that mid-encounter events are absolutely running away with it... which is fine, I think they'll be cool.
What are mid-encounter events, you might be asking? They'll mean that in certain situations, there's a chance an encounter will be paused in the middle for something to happen. For example, you might be masturbating alone in the shower when you think you hear somebody walking in, or having sex with your partner in their dorm when... is that their roommate coming home?? And so on. Given that did so well, I'll be starting to tackle that basically immediately, probably right after I post this.
Another item that did well is expanded NPC customization. If you like customizing NPCs, you've probably noticed there are certain things you just can't change, like their pubic hair, tattoos, piercings, and so on. So I'll be working on adding all the options that don't currently exist for them. Technically this item is in third place, but it's pretty close to second and it's one of the smaller items on the list, so it's very likely I'll make sure it gets done this month.
The item that is actually in second place is voyeur events. The game has a lot of exhibitionist content, so imagine sort of the flip side of that, with opportunities to catch NPCs suffering wardrobe malfunctions, having sex, and so on, with some systems that fit it. This one will involve a lot of writing, so I'll have to see where I'm at after completing the above tasks and then just plan to do as much as I can.
I'll keep an eye on that poll for the next week or so too, just in case something shifts, but for now, that's the plan!

Hi there, been playing the game for a while and really enjoy it. Somewhat related to the shop filtering options, will this be applied to our closet as well? I have a *lot* of clothes and some sort of grouping and/or filtering options would be cool. As an example I have like 8 pairs of lace panties in different colors so just one "Lace Panties" entry with a fly out or clicky color swatch under it to chose might be cool. Something to make certain items always worn would be nice. I have a pair of glasses I would always like to wear and recently found a Purity Ring at the Thrift Store that I wear Ironically.

for NPC customization i was wondering if u could also give us the option to change what they like (physical features) im tired of having a crush on someone and them being like “i actually really don’t like *insert body shape or size that my PC has*” i alr experience that enough irl i dont wanna deal w that in game too 😭😭😭

Campus security will definitely get more work when the crime & punishment roadmap item happens. For coaches... well, I don't NOT plan to, but I don't have any notes on them currently.

Also, when the MC is in an open or polyamourous relationship, it would be interesting to be able to sneak a peak into their SO's social life. It will be sort of NTS but not fully.

The contacts in the phone need to be alphabetized. Also the "search" option in the phone contacts doesn't work.

Curious, are there plans to expand upon story lines of primary NPCs? If so what could we expect from these stories, will they end up having more unique date/hangout options?

I would love to see the relationships with the coaches and the campus guard security getting deeper 😂. Do u plan to develop those relationships?

Yes, it will be similar. In worldgen options you can choose whether houses are fraternities/sororities or don't care about gender.

Will there be an option for frats and sororities to stick to traditional genders sort of like there is with traditional sports teams option?

Would love to see a marker for new clothing items in the store or maybe a list so we don't have to search and try to remember what we already have and what we don't clothing wise.

Hmmm, sort of. We basically have the sports fraternity, the overachiever sorority, the nerd fraternity, and the misfit sorority. So I foresee for example the sports fraternity being more likely to do some wild strip beer pong game or something, while the nerd fraternity might be more likely to go on a panty raid.
