FUNCTIONAL PSYCHIATRIST CAREER MOD
🕑 Added 2022-05-10 20:07:38 +0000 UTCThis mod adds a functional psychiatrist career to The Sims 4. Your Sim will be able to evaluate Sims to figure out what treatment would be best for them. There are 4 functional treatment options which include prescribing a sedative, stimulant, antipsychotic, and mood stabilizer.
How The Mod Works:
Give your Sim the Psychiatrist Career Trait in CAS.
Once you have the trait you can head over to your office to start seeing clients. Get the office here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/psychiatrist-66257809
On a base game computer select "Start A Session". This will spawn one client. You can immediately use the "Evaluation" menu to ask the client questions and help them get over any mental issues.
Once you feel you understand what's going on you can prescribe treatment. Each treatment option will have a different effect on the client. Sedatives will make the client get very sleepy. Stimulants will give the client extreme energy. Mood Stabilizers will make the client feel fine. Antipsychotics will make the client feel dazed and sloshed.
How To Download:
Place the two files into a folder, rename, and place in your Sims 4 Mods folder.
Known Typo: Stabilizer is spelled Stabalizer

It worked for me, for some reason the trait didn't stick the first 2 times. Just wanted to let you know , you have some of the best mods.

I would use a generic lot type. Hopefully that solves the issue.

What should the lot type be for it to work? When I first placed the lot it showed but it was greyed out. Then it went away.

The reason my patient left was because my Sim flirted with her even though my SIM has a boyfriend lol. Might have to lock her in the room 🤣

In the next update I'll make the time longer or optional alternative download. And may add the ability to create clients and have repeat sessions. Thank you for more good ideas.

It's typically random but the same sim will return on occasion. Plus you can use the phone to invite a sim over if you want. At least I think you can to a generic lot or your home.
Plus the patient doesn't stay very long enough for me to question them
Does the psychiatrist have regular sessions with the same person each week or a different person each week?
