Chapter 13: Curse of G
🕑 Added 2023-06-03 17:08:40 +0000 UTCI was sat in a lotus position trying to get into a zen state as I glared holes into the roll gacha button.
If I roll a black key I will scream.
With a trembling finger, I pressed the roll gacha button.

"RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
...
After my meltdown, I exited the dungeon and plopped down on my couch. Since I was still rightfully furious I decided to make myself something nice to calm down. What better to make than pancakes?
But unfortunately, my kitchen was bare so I threw on a jacket and started walking to a 24/7 convenience store. But as I was doing so I felt some fluctuations of cursed energy coming from behind me.
'Likely a stray.'
Then I felt heavy footsteps shake the very ground I stood on. But I wasn't scared. Yet I was ready to use the recall mirror if anything went wrong. Still facing away I heard the melodious voice of a woman yet I could feel the cruelty hidden beneath.
"Mmh~ You smell so wonderfully tasty, I almost can't stand it~ I wonder if you are sweet or bitter?" Hearing her words I turned around and was met face-to-face with what I can only describe as a chimera with a woman's body crudely stitched on top.
A giant four-legged lower body covered in fur with sharp claws and a snake tail while a black-haired beauty with large uncovered breasts topped with pink nipples consisted of the upper body. Her face held a smile that was twisted in sadism.

Int: 52
Wis: 72
A bottom of the rung stray devil with a... questionable choice in magic.

I can deal with this. She is slower than me and my magic outclasses hers by a mile. Just as I was about to reply with a witty one-liner she started... Rubbing her breasts what?
"Ahh~" Wat
Then I saw the magic circles in her nipples as they started to harden and now I remembered her. The fucking nipple acid laser girl.
The fucking audacity to just charge up nipple lasers in front of me while you play with yourself is just... Wow.
Now I am slightly pissed.

[Quest: A Straynge Encounter]
A feral Stray has decided that you are their meal for today. Time to put them in their place.
Condition: Kill Viser
Reward: Soul of a Stray devil(Viser)

As she was charging up her... Boobeam I raised both of my hands. She was here to kill me so I have no reason to hold back.
The higher the firepower the longer the cast time but it seemed like she wasn't even in a hurry to stop as she was in her own world.
Before long, a pair of Cursed Flames shot out from my palms with the speed of a softball. The moment she saw the fireballs leave my hands her eyes widened and her grin turned into one of panic as the circles on her badonkas disappeared and she raised her arms to cover herself.
*BOOOM*
"Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!" As the balls of flame hit her she released a guttural shriek as impacted her body and exploded with immense force before covering her entire body in green flames.
"ARRRGHHH WHAT DID YOU DO!!!???" She flailed around wildly as she screamed and for a good reason, with my current intelligence if she didn't put her guard up she would've been killed instantly and the burn of these flames are no laughing matter.
Besides, I too would be panicked if a quick and easy meal turned into a cookout.
"I'LL KILL YOU YOU FUCKING BRAT I WILL SKIN YOU ALIVE!" Shouting from rage her humongous flaming body barreled toward me with surprising speed. But not faster than me.
She rushed at me screaming but I leaned back from the slash of the oversized claw before activating CE Enhancement and parkouring off the walls as I avoided her as there was no way she was casting any spell while on fire.
I watched with glee as she burnt, throwing lesser fireballs here and there to keep the flame going. Eventually, she slowed down to a halt as she held her hand out.
"...Kill...you...I-" I didn't give her the privilege of last words as I nailed Tozama to her head and put her out of her misery. She tried to kill me, she didn't deserve last words. Act like a mad dog and be put down like one.
[Level Up!] [Quest complete!]
Ah, the phrase I like the most. Now then, since I have a magical corpse in front of me I should be able to raise a skeleton magician right? Looking at the corpse I used observe.
[Type: [Magical(low)] [Devil(Reincarnated)] [Large] [Animal/Humanoid] ]
Huh, so those are the things it qualifies for huh? Nice. Still, I held my hand out before casting create undead on the corpse before I received an unusual notification.
[Create Undead? Due to the level difference between the caster and target as well as the level of create undead the created undead will lose some levels. Y/N?]
...That has reminded me of the fact that I, in fact, have not created undead from anything that wasnt a level 1 creature or a straight-up object. Regardless I still pressed yes. And also pressed never show again.
The wisp of green-black energy left my body nearly emptying my entire CE bar before entering the large corpse and turning it into black goo before it coalesced into a singular humanoid that turned into a skeleton holding a staff wearing a black ragged cloak and holding a book in the other hand.
[Skeleton Wizard Lv. 32]
Huh, I did not know that I could create undead that arrived pre-leveled up. But to be fair I also never tried to raise anything after my skeletons. Looking over its stats it had shit physical stats that barely passed 20 but its intelligence and wisdom were nearly 100 which was very good for me as I now had a permanent ranged unit other than the temporary skeleton archers I could summon.
Commanding the undead to retreat to my shadow I pulled out Viser's soul.
____________________________________________
[ Soul of a Stray devil(Viser) - Rank: Low ]
Soul of the stray devil Viser. Can be used for a variety of rituals or creation of undead. Or the power inside the soul can be used in its raw state to increase stats.

I should hold off on that until I actually get the necromancer class and can use it properly. Well, there is a lot of burnt flesh and destruction in the alleyway but I am not the king that is responsible of here. It's their problem now.
Dusting off my hands I resumed heading to the store.
...An hour after...
An hour after Akira dipped like a father going to get milk for his 5-year-old Rias and her peerage flew in and touched down on where Akira had murdered Viser in self-defense. Looking around Rias noted.
"Alright it should be here... what do you think Koneko?"
Rias and her peerage arrived here after Koneko sniffed the remnants of what smelled like Demonic Power and an unknown smell. What they arrived at was an unusual sight of a charred alleyway with unidentifiable burnt pieces of something.
After sniffing the air a bit Koneko's usual expression changed somewhat to a slightly befuddled one.
"It smells like a stray devil and... of... Gojo-senpai...?" Koneko said as she tilted her head. Hearing the first part of her Rook's explanation a bit of Rias' Demonic Power surged in anger.
"How dare a stray appear here in my territory? Akeno could you ask my father about any recent stray devils and inform Sona about this?" Rias commanded in an authoritative tone.
"Ara ara alright president."
After giving her order Rias noticed the second part of what Koneko said and was immediately intrigued. Any chance to know anything about her potential peerage member was valuable to her.
"Koneko, what was that about Akira-kun?"
"...The air here smells faintly of the aura that usually surrounds Gojo-senpai." Koneko noted curtly while looking confused.
"I see."
"President? Do you think our Junior had an encounter with this stray perhaps?"
"Yes Akeno, it seems we will have to chat with our junior again."
...

That wasnt really the notification I was preparing to cook omelets/crepes at 1 AM. But at this point, I have learned not to question the heart of women as even with a system that tells me how much they like me I still can't understand shit.
On another note, the system is so, so convenient with the skill books and stuff. I just had to use the recipe and I got it engraved on my mind as well as how I can make it and what variations would be available at certain cooking levels.
But these crepes were just SO worth it! I had managed to create soft fluffy chocolaty goodness. I think even the system acknowledged how good these were.
[+10 Cha for being a good cook(Girls like guys that can cook)]
Being given the recipe for these pancakes was almost worth rolling Black Keys.
Almost.
