Upcoming Updates
🕑 Added 2018-06-24 15:12:01 +0000 UTC Beginning in July (2nd) Pay-Upfront will be activated. (Don't worry, this will only take effect with new pledges. Your accounts won't be charged twice)When I reached out to Patreon to help me fix the problem we recently had (being suspended) I asked them if they could grant me this option because of the fake pledges in recent months. People were stealing what you were supporting.
To give a quick rundown, this is how it's going to work. Anytime someone makes a pledge, it's charged upfront. Without question. However, let's say you are currently supporting R.A.T with a $5 pledge, but wish to change it to $10. In doing so, you will be charged the difference, $5, when you make the change. Then at the beginning of the next month, you'll be charged the updated Tier $10 monthly.
Word of advice, if you wish to ever change your tier's pledge, I would recommend doing so anywhere between the days of the 10th to the 20th. This way you won't be charged twice too soon. (the differences and full amount)
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask, and I will answer you as soon as possible. Thank you.
Cheers.
