The biggest news of the past few weeks is that the third & final dev build for the club update has been released!
Dev builds are in-development builds that I share with Seniors & Graduates so they can check out new content while the rest of the next update is being created. This third one adds Asher & Skinema's storyline to the already implemented storylines for Alex, Isaiah, new character Griffin, and a solo path. It also adds the first hookup scenario to the game, plus 46 new CGs to unlock.

New Dev Build! Club Update v0.1.5.3 - Asher path & the first hookup
The release of this dev build marked the final mid-development milestone before the full club update is ready to go into early access for everyone to play. The end of the development period is in sight!
What's left is a grab bag of assorted stuff, the main thing among them the art & writing for the two remaining hookup scenes. This is the biggest task left.
Then comes finishing the minor stuff that's still lingering like some missing CGs, backgrounds, and sprites. There's also writing a few small inserts to adjust some existing scenes, and then going through my notes to see where I need to check things like choice flags, transitions, and ending triggers.
Lastly comes testing, and it's gonna be a doozy. I of course tested before posting each dev build, but anyone who played one of those builds probably noticed the bugs I missed. I'm basically charting out a course for each possible path through this section of the game and then going through beginning to end over and over and over to make sure you don't encounter anything game-breaking. And there are a lot of different paths.
I created a pretty aggressive schedule for myself, and as I noted in the status update a few weeks ago, I'm very motivated to finish this so I can move on to the next phase of the game. That doesn't guarantee I'll have it done before the end of the month, but I'll be working non-stop to try and get the final club update into early access for Juniors, Seniors, & Graduates by the 30th.
That's what I've got this time - a shorter post since I still have much to do today. Back to work!
