JB Rewrite Progress & Major Story Changes Part 1

Chapter Rewrites
✅Chapter 1
✅Chapter 2
✅Chapter 3 – Jasper’s interaction has been completely rewritten. He no longer asks for help immediately; this scene has been moved to Chapter 4 and replaced with a brand-new interaction.
✅Chapter 4 – Now includes Jasper’s rewritten Chapter 3 interaction.
✅Chapter 5 – Significant changes to interactions with Jasper and Ryder at the club.
Ryder’s breakup reason has been altered.
Jasper’s conversation changed completely.
✅Chapter 6
Reworked Jorge's conversation to capture the awkwardness of reconnecting with a lost parental figure with reworked dialogue options. Added context about MC's childhood with Jorge.
Added a cute, brief conversation scene showing how Ryder was always there for MC during childhood
✅Chapter 7
Yan's fight scene is now mandatory, simplifying future interactions. Your choices will impact this chapter's fun scene. To unlock it, you must resolve the fight with max Intelligence or Persuasion available so far
✅Chapter 8
Added a bonus chat with Ryder (choice-dependent)
New roommate banter scene
✅Chapter 9
Added a new conversation scene with Kian
Added a new sweet scene with Jorge
A mysterious char hinted in Ch. 27 & 30 will now debut here. Expect more newly added scenes of this char from Ch. 9–30
✅Chapter 10
Reworked all park scene
1st tutor session now mandatory for Feng's intro
1st massage session now mandatory
1st tutor session is now reworked into a fun and cute intro for Feng, instead of jumping straight into tutoring
✅Chapter 11
Yan's first fight lesson is now mandatory
Added a new fun event in Chapter 11 [Yan's fight can now result in fun event]
Ellis' story event is now mandatory
✅Chapter 11 Part 2
Expect more banter scenes with dialogue options that don’t affect relationships. Players can choose what resonates with them, not just what earns points. There will be plenty more like this in future chapters!
Activities like Tutor and Massage sessions are now split into Day and Night. You are no longer forced to choose between them. You can still skip them to get a big boost with a character—only if their affection is low. If their affection is high, the boost will be small. Skipping helps get neglected characters back on track, but you’ll miss key storylines with Feng (Tutoring) and Reuben (Massage) that lead to a great payoff
Rewrote all Sauna interactions, especially Raymond's. You can no longer have the playful moments with him, but the event still takes place in a different context. This change makes it more in line with the current stage of the MC and Raymond’s friendship, keeping it more realistic and true to their dynamic. (That scene also now requires affection check from Raymond)
✅Massage Session 2 rewritten

✅Chapter 12
Reworked Drawing Class: There will no longer be two separate CG routes. If your affection with Ellis is high enough, you'll be able to view both routes consecutively
New character introduced to Ellis' storyline to add more depth and excitement
Ellis' private mill house scene has been reworked and is now a mandatory event
Removed Presley's scene and reworked it completely for Chapter 13
✅Chapter 13
This chapter features the most significant rework yet, going beyond simple rewrites. Nearly every scene has been revised with added plot points and new story elements to enhance the narrative.
Expanded Ryder’s scene to introduce key plot developments
Expanded Mia’s scene to introduce key plot developments
Mikhail’s scene is rewritten & now mandatory
Reworked how Vinny and Rufus’ scene unfolds for better flow
Reworked Presley’s scene
✅Chapter 14
Jorge's scenes in this chapter have been completely removed, as the new scenes added in previous chapters made them unnecessary. The conversation also seems out of place for both characters at this point. The CGs will be repurposed for future use instead.
Added a new scene with Yan & Ellis
Greatly expanded Ryder's scenes
Added a new fun event in Chapter 14
✅Chapter 15
Added a new aftermath scene where the MC wakes up after the shrinking sequence
Rewrote Sarah’s Council Party invite to include updated banter with Ellis and Yan
Gave the fun scenes with the roommates a fresh rewrite—now with extra awkwardness and better flow.
✅Chapter 16
Rework scene to introduce Flex week, now involves new dialogues with Yan, Ellis and Presley
Cato scene moved to Club with rework dialogues
Added new scenes involving the doll
There is no new "drunk variables for Ellis/Yan" needed for Chapter 16 fun scene. It will just be using their affection values so as not to overcomplicate things
✅Chapter 17
Rework Jasper & Ryder banter
Weekends let you:
Catch up with Presley, Rufus, or Mikhail (relationship events)
Catch up on Persuasion or Intelligence stats
Continue Tutor or Massage sessions
Mikhail's claw machine catch-up now gives +1 Affection per win, up to the max points from the previous chapter. Each play now costs $3
Complete rework Tutor Session 3 into a new funny scene

Chapter 21
Reworked Kian's date, adjusting the plot of his storyline
Chapter 22
Prevent buying a Red Ticket without enough money
Allow leaving the Wits Challenge without solving it
Ensure Jack appears regardless of the outcome
Character Adjustments
[With a clearer vision of each character, their early-game dialogue has been adjusted to better reflect their personalities.]
Ryder – More personality added to early dialogue.
Jasper – Now leans more into his stoic nature.
Raymond – His dialogue emphasizes his tech CEO, billionaire, slightly creepy persona.
Niall – Remains a bitch. Even after his fun scene in Chapter 5, he continues to be a dick—no more sudden affection, even if you get the fun ending with him.
Kian - Plot of his storyline completely reworked.

Hello, the rework is until chapter 14 currently Version 1 is much longer, spanning 30 chapters, but it's rough around the edges with weaker writing and grammar issues. Version 2, on the other hand, is currently up to Chapter 14. It's a complete rework with improved writing, better flow, and several new or altered plot points. You can play through Version 1 first to compare all the differences, plot changes, and new scenes before jumping into Version 2. Or, if you’d prefer a fresh experience, you can follow Version 2 as it progresses while enjoying the other VNs here

Hi! If you're referring to the JB V2 remake, the guide has been updated to reflect the latest reworked chapter. Since the remaining chapters are still undergoing revisions, with new scenes and dialogues being added or altered, the guide will only be updated once the rework is complete
