Update 101

Well my youngest officially went back to school this week. This has been my hardest back to school year yet and I am struggling a bit. Tears are just living in the back of my eyes permanently. I'm sure I'll soon be marvelling how much more I can get done in a day and hope to get my evenings back a little bit as I'll be able to watch during the day! Right now though, my empty house is making me cry. Knock on wood, but things may just get a lot more organized over here ;)
This week we continue with G of T, our Pick a Flick Winner The Human Comedy (ok 100% on Rotten Tomatoes!?) and continuing with The "Snyderverse" as the youths say it with Batman vs. Superman!
We also have CASSIE'S PICKS POLLS going on right now. There are 2, and the top 2 from each will square off in a final later this week!
We also have some mod change ups! KL, our amazing moderator for the past two years is stepping back, she will still be here on patreon and stuff but as you can imagine she is a very busy lady with her own channel and all things! She has been incredible, completely organized our whole discord among other things and always a happy voice of reason on here! The Type A to my Type B and we will miss her as a mod!
Our new mod is Cole Jennett! He first found PiB with Sixth Sense in early 2021 and has been a patron since October 2021! He is in Saskatchewan Canada, likes hockey, movies and TV (obvs), is a past trivia winner and all around good guy!
Ok now pretend we're all going back to school and here are the morning announcements in that monotone, muffled, staticky voice:
Good morning students, who is ready for a great week ahead?
Please listen quietly to our important announcements.
There will be a special assembly (YT LIVE) on August 30th at 2pm MST. Please make sure to bring your own popcorn and a good attitude.
The Extra Butter Movie Club will be meeting on August 25th at 8pm MST for a movie and life discussion and Q and A.
We have a new Student Council Member (moderator), please kindly welcome Cole Jennett to this role. Also please stop stuffing student council members in the lockers.
Please remember to fill out or have your parent fill out your PAF form(pick a flick) sheet sent home each month. It is important for attendance purposes to double check after that it has been submitted.
Ok also remember to check the lost and found, there seems to be 3 left shoes, a star trek phaser and a poster of Rita Hayworth.
Finally our menu for lunch is Big Kahuna Burgers, Royale's with cheese and $5 milkshakes.
Make it a great day or not-the choice is yours!
END SCENE!
Thanks guys for everything, looking forward to a great week ahead!
Ps-A.I. will be up this afternoon, we had some technical difficulties, but it's met the blue fairy and ready!
Love all you silly geese,
Cassie Stark ;)

The Film Effect
Can we add Dune Part 1 to a poll?
Lighthammer66 .
Cassie, you've chosen House Stark of Winterfell. A fine choice.

We pray to the DC gods that it's the Ultimate ( aka Extended) edition.

Had it been discussed what version of Batman vs Superman they’ll be watching?
Chris Thom
I don't think so.
K!ll Molli
Have the barbies seen Captain America Brave New World yet?
Clarence Newman
Pretty solid, I think. I'm not even surprised about Mad Max 3. I know some people like it, but I never did. The fact that Jaws 2 is under 100k is entirely Carly's fault and she should be made to watch The Fly with Cassie as punishment.

Point well taken. Semi-spoiler alert ... Then again, if you know what happens at the "end" of Snyder's Justice League ... you're left wondering WTF happens next. :-)

I do feel sorry for your experience and your situation, even though I am only a fellow member like yourself. In Cassie's defense however, it is clearly stated when you join the Kernel Club at $102 a year: "+ Exclusive Access to all of my Full Length Movie/TV Show reactions! ***You will need your own copy of the Movie/Show to watch a long.***" Sometimes the buyer has to beware. I do hope this gets resolved in your favor.

I would like to cancel my yearly patreon subscription that I subscribed to on Aug 18th 2025 eve. I love the YouTube reactions and expected a similar experience but longer. I did not enjoy the longer full reactions with a blurred out video. (That I watched only a minute of.) I am on social security and $102 is a lot of money to me. Please help me resolve this. I have sent an Email to Cassie on August 19th to support@popcorninbed.com but have not heard anything as of Noon EST on August 20th. If I need to I will put a stop payment on this transaction with my financial institution.

just putting this out there .... as Cassie & Carly are going to watch Batman V Superman (Ultimate Edition). I am pretty sure they will continue the series with Snyder's version (definitely not Whedon's version) of Justice League. Semi-spoiler alert ... if you know what happens at the end of B v S ... I think they're going to want to know what happens next. Which I am okay with, there are some reactions to Snyder's Justice League out there.
