I love the Restaurant Owner in the beginning...She's the one who really saved him..Without her, he'd never have gone to College and met Linda...and the World wouldn't have known about Brue Lee...

Tim Weaver

His son is best known for the Crow but Showdown in little Tokyo is an awesome B movie if u decide to go down the 80s MMA flicks of which there are are a ton. The introduction of VHS widespread access was def a gamechanger.

It’s so sad that Mr Brandon Lee Bruce Lee son died the year this movie came out. So tragic.

Foot note...Jeet Kune Do is a mix of about 9+ different fighting styles..it started as 5 but as Bruce meet other martial arts masters he learned from them..example Dan Inosanto was a escrima master(stick fighting) who trained daily with Bruce..he taught Dan JKD and Dan taught Bruce escrima...my 2 masters trained under Dan Inosanto ( Krause brothers) who brought him over to Glasgow where I spent 3 days training with Inosanto and his daughter...who stars in star wars Ashoka 😀

This movie is a foundation piece of my childhood. Also, when are the next episodes of Game of Thrones??

Thank you to Ben. :-) As I've mentioned, this entertaining movie would more accurately be named: "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Legend." 0:38 Ah yes, the famous Cassie "wink." :-) 2:15 I feel seen!!! 🥳 8:29 Welllll... 17:38 "What did he say?" Well, there is reason to think he couldn't really have objected... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Lee#Early_life (And the next section sheds some interesting perspective on Linda's mother's misgivings.) 25:50 "But the baby's going to be so young!" Not to mention that you can also replace one word in this sentence. 😢 43:05 That scene was from the previous year's The Way of the Dragon; your confusion stems from Robert Wall being in both movies. Regarding further movies, I wouldn't insist on any more movies starring Bruce Lee. Ip Man (2008), however, a biopic about Bruce Lee's teacher, would be a good choice for you. And one more. I just read the following YouTube comment today: "Baryshnikov is to dance what Bruce Lee was to fighting arts...Charisma, perfect technique, he has it all." Which prompts me to recommend White Nights (1985).

My favourite Jet Li film is Hero. His fight scene with Donnie Yen is a masterpiece.

I’ve seen this quite a few times over the years and I always forget how awesome the score is. It’s one of my favorites.

RIP Bruce & Brandon Lee. 😢

I've mentioned this before Cassie, but you also need to react to jet li, Jackie Chan, Donnie yen, wu jing, Tony jaa. You should do another martial arts poll soon. So many great martial arts movies to check out.
