Hey friends,
This has been a lonnnngggg day, I am so tired and is it Friday yet? I just can't be good if my kids aren't good, and one of them is worrisomely sick and we have to wait for answers and it's so hard. I just have this knot in my stomach and anyways just want to let you know what's going on sometimes.
I wanted to thank you all who came to the LIVE on Saturday. Sorry it was so long haha, couldn't stop yapping as usual ;)
This week we have got zombies (I know, i know not really zombies-mushroom heads) and monkeys and apes! I actually am dying to watch the next POTA movie! We also have a mothers day poll with some of my own maja's fave flicks! It looks like Double Jeopardy is trebekking away with it. Get it? A stretch I know! I told her next time we will just put Australia on the poll because that's the one she just really wants haha
Only one more day in April, that means Wednesday is the last day to enter the PiB Pick-a-Flick! Can't wait to see what and who wins in the lovely month of May! Go here for all the info and to submit your pick!
I'm going to do the Extra Butter hangout this Friday night ( I know I'm a few days late) We're going to try the new patreon hangout thingy. I'll keep you posted with deets, but if its smooth, it could be a great option!

YT releases seem to be a bit jumbled at the moment, probably due to some being stuck in copyright. Cape Fear should've come out before Passion of the Christ, and Matter of Life and Death should be out before Willow and Dawn of POTA. I don't think Cassie does Patreon only reactions anymore, so I expect it'll turn up eventually.

12 MONKEYS will be a trippy movie for you I'm sure. It's great mind-bending science fiction with excellent performances by Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt. It's also quite stylish, atmospheric and visually striking. It's a remake of a short French film called LA JETTE and it is this channel's introduction to the wondrous, bizarre, grotesque and fantastic cinema of Terry Gilliam (not counting MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL, which he co-directed with Terry Jones), one of the most unique and imaginative filmmakers of the last 50 years. If you are interested in seeing any more of his films, I recommend TIME BANDITS (a beloved film of my childhood) BRAZIL (arguably his best and probably his darkest work), THE ADVENTURES OF BARON MUNCHAUSEN (a flop when it was released, but a cult classic), THE FISHER KING (one of my favorite films and one of the five movies I picked when I won trivia night), THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNACUS (Heath Ledgers's final performance), FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS (strange movie with Johnny Depp giving an uncanny performance as Hunter S. Thompson) and THE MAN WHO KILLED DON QUIXOTE (a passion project he has spent most of his career trying to make but his attempts kept getting frustrated; it is chronicled in the terrific documentary LOST IN LA NANCHA). Looking forward to that reaction as well.
