You need to watch the mid-credits scene at the end before watching the next one.

Joe J

Don't expect them weekly, from what I've seen, she normally spaces out franchise reactions to every other week. Also, Carly visits just on Fridays I believe to watch movies, so that can impact the timing of postings.

Thoko

Has Cassie given any indication of the timeline of these ape movie reactions? Like, will this new series be reacted to as quickly as the last? And will Carly abandon us again?

Kanzi the bonobo died on March 18, 2025, at the age of 44. Kanzi the bonobo, who learned how to communicate with humans using symbols, has died at the age of 44. Raised and kept in captivity, Kanzi was the subject of many studies aimed at illuminating ape cognition and the origins of human language and tool use

Bright eyes is what Dr. Zira (Kim Hunter ) called George Taylor ( Charlton Heston )in the first Planet of the apes movie

Chris Thom

You can sleep when you're DEAD. Sorry a little dramatic. But I'm bout to watch it myself in Cali.

Stan the Man

I just can’t take James Franco as a scientist seriously. He sounds like he’s playing a character in a Seth Rogen comedy. The way he enunciates his words. Like he’s saying them for the first time while reading a script. The sequels are so good.

Chris Thom

Was just reading an old review for the movie and I got reminded of a pretty terrible scene I'd completely forgot about. Been a while since I saw it.

Chris Thom

Blasphemy?

Bryan Fritchie

I've been waiting for this since the first one, but couldn't finish it with the blasphemy.

Andrew Heller

Cant wait for the rest….this series was so well done as a prequel series, and each movie is def good in its own right

Patrick Switzer

She is on mountain time

Christian Valdersnes

ah okey, tack så mycket. Let's just hope that "tonight" means between 19-21, or else i might go to sleep :D

Björn Karlsson

A swede here. We are 8 hours ahead of Utah (Mountain time zone) 😀😀

Christian Valdersnes

It's almost 2 am here in norway, and Cape fear is tonight. Do anyone know what her time zone is ? should i go to bed and wait until tomorrow or could she release it soon?

TheSingulatarian

The guy who plays the Sheriff if is a Vancouver acting regular. He had a small role on Battlester Galactica.

Jason Henderson

These newer versions of planet are very well done in their own right!

Jason Henderson

Thank you for the upload!

Jason Henderson

Hey Cassie , I bet you’ve never seen this type of performance from Robert deniro before. So creepy! Miss Jessica Lange However was such a beautiful woman! Very beautiful, In my opinion. She and Jeff bridges in King Kong worked well together, but that’s for another time lol But ape related 🍿👍😊

shaneth138

I have seen both movies a dozen times and never realized that until now 😂

TheSingulatarian

The lab tech is from "Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil.

Patrick Switzer

Rod Serling who did The Twilight Zone was involved in the making of the 1968 Planet Of The Apes

Patrick Switzer

Robert Mitchum portrayed the police detective in the remake of Cape Fear portrayed Max Cady in the original version

I’ve been really looking forward to this reaction and it did not disappoint. This is the only example I can think of where a modern reboot of a 20th century series improves on the original and uses modern technology to deepen the storytelling. The recent Star Wars and Star Trek movies have diminished their universes but Rise of the POTA is so smart and well done it elevates the entire franchise (well except maybe that Tim Burton thing…)

Clarence Newman

Cassie's monkey marathon will never be complete until she's watched Every Which Way But Loose (1978). Clint Eastwood and an adorable orang utan named Clyde. Plus which, if she watches Which Way before she watches Deliverance, the protagonist in Deliverance won't be so scary.

Shehab Dawoud

Bake him away, toys! Hopefully we can get The Simpsons Movie on here someday and she can watch a few episodes to get the sense of the show. But I doubt it.

🚩

And after that, she will watch The Simpsons episode "Cape Feare" No one who speaks german can be an evil man. Parole granted!

Clay F

From the 1968 original: "Our first Article of Faith tells us that the Almighty created the Ape in his own image; that he gave him a soul and a mind; that he set him apart from all the beasts of the jungle, and made him lord of the planet. These sacred truths are self-evident."

Clarence Newman

It'll be an interesting one, that's for sure.

Clay F

She saving the Tim Burton POTA for last -- after the reboots.

David Freese

The plan is to finish with the Tim Burton version after the reboots are done. I think because its story is totally different

Stranger2Reality

I'm kinda surprised the Tim Burton POTA was skipped. It's not a good movie though, so I'm guessing that's why. This newer Apes trilogy was fantastic, especially the second movie. The newest movie was OK, although it was a bit "YA-ish".
