I like John Wayne, I was not much of a fan of his, when I was younger, but later I learned to like him and his movies. Still to me Clint is the best. John Ford and John Wayne made some great westerns

I have never been a big fan of John Wayne, and I have seen most of his movies. I've seen this one twice, which is probably why it took me two weeks to watch this reaction. Of all his films, I would say The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance is by far his best, but that's probably because Jimmy Stewart is one of my favorite actors.

Years ago at work, I showed a friend of mine a scene from The Searchers, first saying something like "look at this: John Wayne’s movies are not always funny." It was the "draw you a picture" scene. But my friend actually laughed as I watched.

I've seen every John Wayne movie ever made. My favorite movie is Otto Preminger's In Harm's Way. It has every emotion you can imagine in it. It's a real Roller Coaster ride based in the WWII Pacific. Well worth the watch.
