She has seen The Martian. Good movie.

Matt Damon is a solid actor. Cassie still needs to watch The Martian.

Such a good movie. Keeps you engaged from start to finish, and the casting is just phenomenal. Another great movie about poker is MOLLY'S GAME with Jessica Chastain, based on a real story.

I like Rounders especially b/c of Malkovich's last couple of lines in the movie. Two suggested John Malkovich movies in which his character is generally a good guy: A. "THE KILLING FIELDS" (1984) (based on true story). Nom 7 Oscars incl. Best Picture. RT 93%, RT Audience 91%. Malkovich 14 years younger than in Rounders. B. "EMPIRE OF THE SUN" (1987) (w/13-yr old Christian Bale) (nom 6 Ocars). Came in 4th place in the Spielberg poll losing by only 5 votes to the 3rd place Duel (1971): Spielberg Poll (top 7) 1. Bridge of Spies (2015) - 268 2. A.I. (2001) - 255 3. Duel (1971) - 243 *4. Empire of the Sun - 238 5. The Color Purple (1985) - 170 6. Always (1988) - 154 7. Amistad (1997) - 153

+1 for Places in the Heart.

Yeah, she recognized Malkovich right away when she first saw him in this movie Rounders.

Cassie, if you want to see John Malkovich in a role you will like, try "Places in the Heart" (1984). Sally Field, Danny Glover, and a very young John Malkovich. I've mentioned this movie to several reactors, but you more than anyone will love it. Sally Field won her second Oscar for this performance.

You also saw John Malkovich in In the Line of Fire with Clint Eastwood

Great poker movie, Cassie you should definitely check out "pool hall junkies"...One of the best Pool 🎱 movies I've seen. It actually started getting me into Pool.
