I am a little familiar with the games/creatures, I tried playing the 2nd one several years ago, but didn't like it, & I've seen it played a couple times. Personally, I'd associate them more with the Flood from Halo than anything else that I know & am familiar with. But yes, I can see the Resident Evil similarities as well.

I'm not familiar with Dead Space monsters but it does give me Resident Evil vibes. Not the strangest alien erotic concept considering what I did with Alexia and her tentacles from Code Veronica.
