Birbo Update: Day 2

This isn't day 2 of making the model, but this is my second day of giving random updates on the progress, so let's go with it! I decided against streaming the process on this one because I'm doing too much that's new and experimental for me and I need to be able to focus, the distraction of streaming might make it too hard to get to where I want with this feller.
Got the initial pass of rigging done so I can at least pose him, but the tidying up still needs to be done which is why his shoulders are a bit weird and he has no expression on his face.
Also got the first draft of the colouring done. Still some touchups and tweaks to be done but I think I have the basic design solidly in place. And also my boy finally grew out his first feathers! Aww.
