I take it back. After this episode, I think I'd put The Pacific ahead of this series. It's been pretty disappointing

Biss, you understood the importance of the fighters escorting the bombers, right? The fighters couldn’t do anything about the flak but made the Luftwaffe pay a high price for attacking bombers……. when their airborne rendezvous came off without a hitch. With European weather, the two groups couldn’t meet up in the air.
