Out-Of-Placers #164
🕑 Added 2021-09-29 03:58:59 +0000 UTCGuardsman Arlo had been stationed in this passage for a couple years with a senior guard, who recently reached retirement age. Guardsman Trella here had a trustworthy record, and was given the station in his stead.
She's only been there for a few weeks, but since most of the time they're the only other people they see on the job, they've had plenty of time to get to know each other.
It's going pretty well.

These sweet, friendly, everyday inter-species relationships continue to be some of my favorite parts of this comic.

They make an adorable couple I hope we see some more of and don't get horribly maimed.
