🕑 Added 2025-09-07 15:19:57 +0000 UTCI reached 24,000 followers on bluesky, so I decided to illustrate something to celebrate it. This image took quite some time to complete by itself. Somewhere in the area of 20 hours from concept to complete.
The rare stand-alone background is included in this, as well as the full timelapses as recorded by clip studio.
These are my OCs, Vier and Naoki. Vier is the big cat one. Naoki is blue. They are some of the key staff at the GRO+ Factory, a strange structure that has grown deep into the earth's crust to expand its operations. It is unknown when it converted itself from a traditional chemical plant zone into a sort of living megastructure. Is this good for the ecosystem, or bad for it. Who can really say what is actually unnatural if it originated from the planet itself?
