News and Updates for July 2025

News:
I'm working on my backlog of Patron sketches today, I have a few to attend to and will update the final post from June when I complete them all.
The reason for things really fell behind last month came down to the passing of my cat a week ago today. I've had a lot of pets growing up and as an adult, but the kitty who we lost on June 24th wasn't just another family cat but de facto my kitty. We were both very attached to each other, ever since we rescued her as a palm sized kitten at just 6-8 or so weeks old back in 2007. She always loved to run up to me, to snuggle and lay on my chest and purred so loudly when she did.
Every day I am feeling a little better but it still hurts that she was unknowingly ill despite thriving and doing so well even at her age, with no indication of any problems until the final day or so. I always made sure to take her to the vet regularly and give her fresh water multiple times a day, special dietary foods to avoid inflammation, a heated pillow and twice daily medicine for her hormones. The vet commented on her otherwise great health and appearance at the first appointment on the week of her passing and was shocked when I rushed her back in the next day after she began to have rapid breathing. With no one expecting her to have internal bleeding from an aggressive stomach mass/tumor that grew in less than 3 months since her last ultrasound.
So that's where I'm at right now, I'm going to focus on the backlog of sketches this week and I might draw some personal sketches too while working on getting the Round 1 Poll ready.

Now as per usual this month's Round 1 Character Poll will open July 3rd for ~24 hours and the Round 2 Run Off poll will be on the 4th and conclude the 5th. I will be able to tally the votes soon after and announce the winners later that day along with their belly combination. Big Burger and Full Combo tier patrons that are looking to suggest a character this month either DM me here or check out the "Character Suggestion" post from this morning in order to do so.
