🕑 Added 2015-12-01 04:27:43 +0000 UTC here's a link to the hi-res version: http://i.imgur.com/LNUYCim.pngfirst of all, thanks for being so patient with this update--i originally intended on posting this in two parts, but then i figured it worked better as one whole installment. this page went through like twelve iterations (the sketches of which i'll post on here later) until finally getting to a point i was generally satisfied with. the next installment should be dropping in a few weeks, along with a few beautiful new guest comics, etc etc. basically, some really cool stuff coming down the pike, including (barring any technical difficulties) some patreon-exclusive merch!
second of all, i just want to thank all of you for supporting me in this project--there's no way it would've lasted this long without all of your help. Night Physics started as something i made to distract myself from a really low point in my life, and it's blossomed into something so much bigger than i could've anticipated. and that all lies squarely on you folks. so really--thank you.
i'm gonna be changing some stuff up around here soon, and i'll make a post of announcements in a few days; new features, new milestones
, faster/more frequent updates, more goodies for you folks, etc etc. so stay tuned--let's bring in the new year with a bang.

I started reading Night Physics on 15.5 the chomp and went backwards initially because the user interface for mobile on tumblr is whacky. So initially I thought the comic was about "yay cute gay couple happy times" then I read this chapter ;_;. The art and writing makes me feel melancholic, in a good way.

I go back to this page a lot. The artwork you've created is so beautiful. The composition and flow through the panels is so well thought out and purposeful. I love the juxtaposition between Austin's hallucinatory state and the more stable projection of his ex. It also gets me because this story hits so close to home (except less hallucinations & drug involvement). It's a strange feeling when you see a character in a comic going though the exact same feelings you are.. it's like you're staring at yourself, and you're not really sure how to feel about it all... it's kind of scary... Thank you for your work.
